calling all Ohio Mini buyers

I'm trying to unite in a front to strong arm the Columbus, Ohio dealer into selling for MSRP instead of charging $1000 over but I need some help to do that. Please send me a private message if you're trying to buy a car from MAG and are frustrated. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one out here.

Thanks,
minimott

Cincinnati MINI

Cincinnati MINI is selling at MSRP, I think it would be worth the hour and half of motoring time to save $1000.

Very much worth the trip. If anything, go to Columbus and tell them that Cincy quoted you MSRP, and if they don't put in writing the same deal, you're going on a short road trip

Ohio buyers

miniyoda's right:
If you can't get your satisfaction at MAG, go to Cinci.

I worked my problem out so this thread can be considered closed.

Also, Classic, along with Cinci, is charging MSRP ( except for a simonize/paint guarantee, not a big deal). Forget MAG! If I were you I wouldn't put up with it!

looking for someone in Dayton OH

If you are a Mini owner in the Dayton OH area, please contact me at gvestes @ yahoo.com . I would like to organize a Mini meet for owners in the Indiana/Ohio/Kentucky area, and I think that Dayton would be a good "central" location for everyone.

Thanks

MAG

I bought my MINI Cooper from MAG on July 13th. Let me tell you a little about why the $1000.00 over MSRP didn't really bother me.

First of all I have went to 3 dealers that were selling MINI's as used. They put a couple hundred miles on them and were trying to make a hell of a profit on them. These dealers were selling the same model with the same options I have on mine for $28,900. And they would not budge on the price. I paid 20,500 for my MINI. Lets see, 1000 over MSRP and still saved about $8,400. We have to face it the MINI's are HOT HOT HOT. And most dealers are going to try and make a buck. They even had a Cooper S for a whopping $32,000.

Secondly I called the Cincy dealer and talked to them a couple of times on the phone. They told me both times they had up to 14 MINI's on the lot. But NONE of them were for sale. You had to put money down, then when your name came up on the list you could have the pick of the lot. If there wasn't one you liked on the lot at that time, then to bad. They also said it would be months if you ordered a MINI from them.

I went to MAG over a month ago and test drove a MINI. I knew then I wanted one. So I placed an add, sold my car, and went on the 13th and bought my Pepper white MINI right out of their showcase floor. They were very up front about the 1000 over MSRP. They also are some of the finest people at a car lot I have ever dealt with in my life.

I look at the 1000.00 over MSRP as a convience of me having a MINI now, and not having to wait like so many other people. Dealing with MAG so far has been a pleasure, and it is nice to already know the people that I will be dealing with in the future. (IE) oil changes, upgrades and so forth.

Just my point of view,

Mark_Ohio HAPPY MOTORING EVERYONE
