Scotthall Leeds Bodyshop

Have had work done here before and was only last night saying to someone 'what a great job they did last time' (yes i was screwed from that point onwards!)

Took my S in today to get some Fog lights fitted as it for some reason didnt have any when i got it. Also treated myself to some JCW door sill plates. Took the car bright and early 8.30 and left it with them. Got a call at 11.30 saying it would be ready for me at 5pm. So i arrive at just gone five to discover that the car is not ready. (No big deal i'm pretty chilled out about stuff like this) It'll be 5 mins.............. well 5 mins becomes ten and that becomes twenty. I decide i should square up with them so i can get off quickly so of wipe off another chunk of cash from my account. Yet still i'm waiting for the car. I am then informed that they can't fit the door sill plates as they haven't received a clip that they need to attach them (Strange i thought as i was sure they just stuck on) They ask me to bring the car back so i tell them it's staying in Leicester. They are then prepared to send them to Sytner so i can get them fitted there...... nice one. Then another 15 mins go by and the manager comes out and tells me the fogs are fitted fine,........... but are not working. The bodyshop is closing and there's no more they can do. He then proposes that Leicester do the work and they'll cover it. (Bit annoyed by this point, but still very chilled) I tell him this isn't going to happen as Leicester are a bunch of monkeys and aren't touching any technical bit of the car. They can pay for my petrol back to Leeds. He agrees and then tells me they'll fit the plates as actually they just stick on and he hadn't looked at them properly. I leave feeling a bit miffed but alrightish with what's happened.

I get to the car............ no courtesy wash........ah well never mind. Open the boot, have to re-affix the tool kit as they've left it undone......... no big deal. Then drive off into the sunset. It's only a mile down the road when glancing across in my devine cockpit that i notice the feet/mud marks all over my back seats and my JCW racing seats!!!!!

At this point WHITE RAGE sets in.When i get back home a fuller inspection shows that there's **** all down the back of the drivers seat and it may well be scuffed!! The paper mat that they put down is also behind the seat and left some muddy deposits on the seats. I never even let more than 1 passenger in the car in order to preserve my pride and joy seats and they have just shown a complete lazy disregard for them!

I accept that fitting a new toggle bank may be a tricky job, especially with those seats in, but the whole thing is just ridiculous.

The calm well mannered young man who was thanked for being so understanding is preparing to open a can of Whoop Ass on them tomorrow, for this final insult!!!!!

GUTTED!
