Offline | I paid a $500 deposit for a beautiful new MCC, and came back later with my trade-in. I was offered less than half of its value, and was told to sell my car elsewhere and come back for my new MINI. I went to CARMAX the next day, sold my car (more than double the Vista dealership offer), and was then told that despite my deposit and the fact that they knew I was selling my car, they sold the car to someone else! I even checked with the Vista salesman before I sold my car and she didn't tell me they sold the one we had a deal on! It was a terrible experience and thankfully the people at CARMAX gave me back my car later that day. |

Offline | Vista MINI is owned by the same crooks that run South Motors MINI in Miami, FL. I avoid these dealerships like the plague!!! Instead, drive a few more miles south to Lauderdale MINI and see Crystal Neagle for the absolute BEST MINI sales experience in your entire life! I have purchased 3 brand new MINIs from Lauderdale MINI and Crystal in the past 3 years. They are the best in the entire state of Florida. MSRP pricing and no gimmicks! Send me a PM, and I'll give you my name that way when you call Crystal and place your order with Lauderdale, you will come in as a referral customer. '02 Cooper CVT PW/B '05 MCS CR/W |

Offline | Exactly what Willy and Wraith have said. First, check with the legal language on your deposit. I am not sure how the State of Florida handles deposit formalities, but if is like anywhere else, you must be informed and demanded of payment before they cancel your deposit. If you are feeling particularly bitter, you CAN pursue legal action. That would really give them the bitters, as they do not expect Joe Nobody to stuff them up. Secondly, do call MINIUSA. This is a must. They will listen to you as BMW is rather strict about its dealership procedures comapred to other car companies, twice so with MINI as there are only a few over 70 nationwide. They have already stated that they will revoke licenses to deal from repeated poor performers. This is your chance to express your feelings and relate how you were treated. MINIUSA also combs this board, so they might see this as well. You owe it to yourself... ***BMW-AG Rocks!!!*** Portsmouth FC Can Thank Sunderland...What a Farce!!! |
