New Mini Garage..Swindon? - MINI Cooper Forum

The only Mini garages I have seen have been tagged on to the end of a Dicklovett BMW showroom.... However Driving through the lovely town of swindon on sunday I noticed (well you couldnt miss it) in 20ft high letters "MINI" against a black building..... how cool, it isnt finished yet but i am sure it wont be long....

Is this the first of its kind?

For those who may know swindon, its what used to be the Chrysler/Jeep next to Ferrari.

Can't wait - but wouldn't make a special journey!

Their Hungerford branch has recently been opened and I find them most helpful.

I live in Swindon and pass it most days. It's lovely to see all those mini's lined up outside.

The servicing and parts are still at the BMW **** Lovett dealership round the corner though but maybe that's something that they will move over later.

Just had my 25k done at D-ick Lovett Swindon - pretty good actually. Friendly enough staff, booked me in quickly, sold a set of wipers without fitting them, nothing much else to report.

The servicing is still done a mile down the road from the MINI place at their BMW showroom but they said MINI servicing would be moving at some point.

Spent more time looking at the BMW M6 than the MINIs in the showroom (bit of a worry...) but did drop in at the Porsche garage as well, it's right next door!

Oh, my car wasn't cleaned after its 25k and no wireless internet whilst you wait, so the service has room for improvement at Swindon.

I like Dicklovett service in swindon. My last mini was in there every two weeks for about three months with problems and never a problem.

They did lend me a nice £40K + 3 series convertible as a sorry when my clutch went and didn't want me to refuel it, needles to say i had fun.

The new mini garage is good but i bought mine from newport due to the bad deal swindon offered me, but swings and roundabouts (more of them in swindon)

Thats where i got my MCS from and they was a great bunch of people, would be good to have it all under one roof but we will have to wait and see what happens.

So where do all the wiltshire peole come from then??? and where do you all meet up??
