Just bought ours from here and can't really complain about them. Too early for servicing and any (hopefully none) warranty work but they were friendly and quite efficient. Put up with the girlfrinds dithering and my over picky questioning.

Also went to Williams Liverpool, total opposite. First time the salesman walked up, first thing he said was to introduce himself, second was "we don't do discounts" Arrogant *******, we hadn't even sat in one yet!. Then some bint from Hollyoaks walks in, could not help her enough! We went next time (don't know why) walked around the used section, then the showroom, sat in a few. 5 sales people sat at desks, dealership empty. In 15 mins not one hello, recognition or offer of assistance. Glad we walked out.

so true....some dealers are just completey rubbish. Hope they go out of business!

Its all about how much money they think you have! Just because someone dresses casual and not someone in a suit with a rod up his **** doesnt mean that they earn any less.

Their loss.

True, the Liverpool one was a purpose built structure on the edge of the main BMW site, all neon lights, marble floor and salesmen wearing Prada jumpers. Southport was a bit less flash, just a quiet corner of the dealership for Mini, just 2 salesmen in suits but so much more relaxed, couldn't really do enough, he almost drowned me with cups of tea!

Can you remember the name of the salesperson at Williams, A-Z? Or even a description - I'd be most interested to know. I've had HUGE issues with Williams after sales to the point that I now only deal with the Customer Services Manager.

I have found Williams Liverpool to be CR*P, Rubbish, Rip off, Arrogant, & Full of Sh*t

Reasons being non returned calls, being ignored, trying to rip u off for servicing just generally poor

in fact

VERY POOOOOR!!

Wow. I bought my first Cooper in 2001 from new from Williams Liverpool and they couldn't have been more helpful. The servicing was second to none and the customer service was spot-on. The place had only just opened admittedly but they really were very good.

My Gearbox failed one evening and i had to call out the Emergency repair service on my key-fob. I had got the car home by this stage using only 2nd gear (only gear i could select). From getting home and making the call, to my car being fixed and ready to go on my driveway took 45 minutes!!! The following morning i had a call from Williams L'pool asking if the repair was to my satisfaction and inviting me in to have the work done again in the garage for peace of mind. I had it done again, work done on time, car cleaned inside and out.

I'm shocked that people have had such a bad time with them. I now own a 2003 Cooper S bought privately. I went to Williams L'pool a few days after buying the car to get some new wiper blades. One of the Mechanics came out to look at my car and have a chat. He noticed my windscreen had cracked just behing the rear view mirror which i hadn't noticed (d'oh), he told me it was a stress crack, booked me in for the work and did it 2 days later on Warranty, brilliant.

Hope people have a better time there soon as when they're on form, they are top.

Ta ta. PS. I don't work for Williams L'pool. Halliwell Jones in Chester is closer but i prefer Williams

You should put it up for sale on this site, surely with the stuff you have done to it, it should be held within the community

Seriously though, Good luck with the px!
