Offline | If mine is delivered after 15th November, I won't receive it until next year Company car procedures... Dealer told me that if there are no delays it will work out OK, so with a bit of luck...... pretty exciting! ![]() |

Offline | That will be quite a race to see if it can get in by the 15th. I'm just hoping by Thanksgiving, but we'll see. Good luck! Any yes, this does seem like forever. I just ordered about 10 days ago and this already has been rougher than expected. I used to chuckle at the people "freaking" out while they wait and now I've become one... |

Offline | I'm week 44! DS MCSC I can't wait for this car. This is quite ridiculous to be feeling this way, but I can't help it. I've got on order a MCSC, in dark silver with a black top. I've gone for the R99 anthracite wheels, anth. dash, LSD, black leather, all packages sans the JCW and I'm as giddy as a school boy. My wife thinks I've gone stark raving mad. Maybe if I simply don't think about it, late Nov. or early Dec. will be here sooner and I'll be happily motoring off to Key West with the top down. ![]() |

Offline | Just chimin' in I just got word from my MA that I'm in the 44th production week . I suppose I'll have to wait a bit longer for delivery than you East coasters. Us West coasters have to wait for our MINIs to go down through the Panama Canal on the way to the port in So Cal. Oh well, I'll just have to spend my time continuing to obsessively research all things MINI . Oh, BTW, HB/B MCS with all the go fast stuff (except JCW) ordered from the nice folks at South Bay MINI in Torrance, CA.![]() |

Offline | Production week clarification This might be a really stupid question, but here it is anyway. Does the MINI production week refer to the actual calender week number OR to the fiscal week number? According to an online calender I just looked at the 44th week of 2005 is Oct. 23-29, however I believe the 44th fiscal week is Nov. 27th to Dec. 3rd. Which week will my MINI be built if I'm in the 44th week of production? ![]() |

Offline | Cori, Talk to a customer rep on the line. It seems like the systems take a looonnggg time to update when they change model years. The auto line still says no production date for me, but I got my production date from a customer service rep a couple weeks ago. |

Offline | Good advice Thanks for the advice! Just called and I'm week 44. He also said that they're a bit ahead of schedule right now, and that it could be started a bit earlier. FrenchCori ![]() |

Offline | Conception I've been schedluled for week 44 - I just phoned mini this morning and it appears that my MCSC started production today! They said it would be finished Nov. 6th - that seems like quite a long time for production. Any thoughts? I'm not complaining - I can't wait! At least the car didn't get to me this week, as there is a big hurricane coming which would rather dampen the fun of top down motoring. |
