Bummer - ASKMINI is not answering

Can't get my daily fix!

So does anybody know the most up-to-date way of tracking ships through the water rather than just checking the status of your car on WW? My MINI has sailed with the Integrity, but I can't figure out how to see where the Integrity is. Sorry, nola, about being bumped. What a bummer :-(

ASKMINI is back online

and they just told me that my car is IN PRODUCTION and scheduled to be completed April 28th. Since my current Cooper was finished on the 27th of the month and I received it on the 19th of the following month, if all goes well, I may have my Cooper S by May 20th

!

im also in the paint shop and sceduled to be compleeted by the 20th. I posted earlier but didnt post my specs so Ill post them now, its a bit conserviative tho. Cooper Pepper White body and hood CVT Cruise control Auto wipers and lights Panther black cloth upholstry

Does anybody know once your mini has been bumped from one ship how long it takes before it shows that it has been booked on another ship?

Unfortunately, this is the part of the journey that has no logical timetable. You can drive yourself nuts trying to figure it out. Best thing to do is to take a couple days off of tracking and go accessory shopping

. Then check back and your MINI just may have gotten on another ship while you were out. Wish I had a more concrete answer for you. Man I hope my car does not get waitlisted or bumped once it finally gets built and sent to the docks.

My MINI is a great place to shop. I live about 30 minutes away from My MINI and Pete (the owner) is an awesome guy to deal with. He actually sponsored our Sebring Raceway event 2 weeks ago with Sunshine MINIs (www.sunshineminis.org). I bought my PBR Ceramic brakes and SuperBlue brake fluid from My MINI and plan to have my new MCS fitted with the sports grille there as well. I guess since tomorrow is Easter, our MINIs will sit right where they are. Except if at sea, they'll keep going. But I'm sure if they are on the dock at SH, they'll sit there waiting for Monday and if at NJ, they'll stay on ship until Monday to be off-loaded. No point in checking the WW site to see if my VIN shows discharged until Monday.

Will I wait till then to check?

Probably not.

I'm on the Elektra, which is about halfway across the pond right now. The Owners site updated with an estimated delivery date of April 26th.

okay so i'm killing some time & i was curiouse about how many cars are waiting to be loaded on the ship & how long they have been there. So i was about to get all worked up & "say oh my god mine & 9 other cars have been waiting since april 6th "... till i saw there are a bunch of cars that have been waiting since march 16th !! It's funny i'm not in any giant rush, i just want the car to get here safely & in good shape, it's just i hate the idea of it just sitting there, being ignored

Just checked the firstnynj.com site for vessel activity and it says the Liberty is scheduled to dock on 4/17 at 1200 and depart at 1800. If this is accurate, then she must be going quite slow off the coast, or maybe celebrating Easter under the glow of the Statue of Liberty

The latest update from sailwx.com was for 6am today the 15th and she was about 185 nm off the tip of Long Island. No update since.

Well I just checked the WW site and it appears that if my car is finished on 4/28/06 as ASKMINI says it should be, it will have 1 day to hop on the PATRIOT before it sets sail on 4/29/06 for its 14 day journey to Charleston, SC. If not, it looks like I will have to wait until May 6 before the COURAGE sets sail.

Of course I could TOTALLY luck out and get finished early and hop on the UNDINE on April 25 (think positive thoughts

).
