| heterochromic & loving it | It probably already is booked, but you won't know it until after the fact. My VIN steadfastly returned "No tracking information is available for the Cargo ID you entered" results right up until it arrived in port on 4/11, then it showed up with a line saying it had been booked on 3/21 (which is the day I ordered it). So your car probably already is booked, but the system won't tell you until it gets to Southampton... -Ricardo |

Offline | Liberty has left NJ port According to the WW site, Liberty has left the NJ (NY) port on her way to Baltimore and then Charleston. That would mean that the East Coast MINIs have been off-loaded Now we just need to see the words "discharged" on the WW site to know for sure. Then comes the information vacuum. Nothing trackable until our MAs call us with info from the shipper (Wagonners/Wagoneers) *sigh* SkateMom '04 MCS "Audrey" (Jan build) CR/W DAUGHTER'S '04 MCS "Bagheera" (June build) JB/JB HIS USTCC #58 '06 MCS "Lily" (April build) PH/W HERS |

Offline | ASKMINI says even though the estimated date of completion for my MCS is 4/27, it should be probably done as soon as Friday 4/21 !!! If that holds true - I actually have a shot at the UNDINE on 4/25/06 for the voyage across the pond!!! On another note - been trying to come up with a name for my new MINI. Anyone come up with a name for theirs yet? I did not name my current MINI (honestly I thought those that did were a little off balance LOL) but now that I am going for my second MINI - I have joined the therapy session . At this point I think I have decided on "Scoop". I originally came up with "Scooper" but my wife did not like it - any other crazies out there? |

Offline | Since this is our first, and we don't have any kids, I've been calling mine Baby - a Supercharged, Cool Blue, Convertible! Can't wait to take her for a drive. She's on the Elektra, which is pulling into Halifax tomorrow, and into NJ on Thursday. Should have her in a week and a half if all goes well. When I get her I'll post Baby pictures on here! |

Offline | MINIs from Classic go into Charleston, NC? My MINI hasn't been discharged yet, but the ship is on it's way to Charleston with a stop in Boston Does anyone know if MINIs from Classic in OH go through the VDC in Charleston? In '04, Bagheera was from Classic, but he came through the port in NJ. My poor MINI will have to be on the Liberty for 5-6 more days if her port of destination is Charleston. And the trip back to Mentor is 530 miles vs 280 from Newark, NJ Anyone know if Charleston is the new VDC for Classic MINI? Offline | Well I guess I was in the wrong thread about my MCS '06 so here is my post i put again... I finally called the MINI hotline, and my MCS '06 is in production and the est. production completion date is April 21st. How long does it usually take to get to Minnesota USA from the plant? Here is my order, MCS '06 Dark Silver/Silver roof Silver U bonnet stripe Premium Package Cold Package Front Fog Lights Center Arm Rest ... and all the other basic stuff... I plan on putting a Sub and a CarPC in my MCS once I receive it and probably tinting the windows I just cant wait till it gets here. since it's getting to get nice in Minnesota, I have started to see more and more MINIs on the road, what agony! i want my MCS! As of last night, my MSC '06 is in the paint shop almost done ![]() |

Offline | That's all I've been thinking about for the last two months - what am I going to name it? I've had the problem of deciding if mine was going to be a "he" or a "she." Currently I've decided it's a "he" and I'm thinking about the name Percy. Percy is after a band composer (my husband and I are both band directors) who is quite strange, but we love him!!!! It's quite a hard decision to make, but I've been having LOTS of time to think about it..... ![]() |

Offline | arty, Welcome to the April group. The paint shop? Yippee! Don't be surprised if ASKMINI says it's in the paint shop for a few days. For some reason and for some it doesn't update very well after that point. Depending on how long it takes to get aboard a ship, you're looking at 9 to 14 days to get to a US port (either NJ or Charleston), Then it's through the VDC and transported to your dealer. My car left SH on 4/7 and it should dock in Charleston on 4/22. I'm hoping for fast turn around in the VDC and a quick trip up I-77 to Ohio. crosses fingers Good luck and have fun tracking, SkateMom '04 MCS "Audrey" (Jan build) CR/W DAUGHTER'S '04 MCS "Bagheera" (June build) JB/JB HIS USTCC #58 '06 MCS "Lily" (April build) PH/W HERS |

Offline | Ricardo ( MGB Boy ), are you on the Elektra too? Counting my days down til Thursday when it lands in NJ - then the big wait. I'd love it to take less than a week, and be informed by my MA on what is going on. I'm meeting MA this weekend to pay for Baby and hopefully we will have the time set for delivery. Should get all the goodies on order by then too. Ya Baby! BTW, anyone interested in the Halifax port status Ricardo mentioned, go to: http://www.portofhalifax.ca/AbsPage....iteid=1&lang=1 It sometimes doesn't get updated for a while, but it does mention the Elektra today! |

| heterochromic & loving it | Yup, I'm on the Elektra. Owners Lounge currently estimates delivery on 4/28. My dealer (Keeler, Latham NY) is about three hours north of the VPC/Port, so eight days from arrival to dealer is plausible. Last car was eleven days. Hopefully quicker this time. -Ricardo |

| heterochromic & loving it | Once your Owners Lounge status kicks from "Awaiting Transport" to "En Route", an estimated delivery date should fill in on the . The catch is that, like everything else on the Owners Lounge, it happens late. This time around, the OL kicked in to "En Route" four days after it left port. Last time it was six days after it left port. Right now, if I look at the "Review Order Detail" screen, it has a delivery date listed. Of course the rest of the page is still blank, unless I do the "view source" method. -Ricardo |

Offline | MGB Boy, When you view source, can you see the estimated delivery date among all the code? I don't see it on my status screen (as you attached) nor do I see any date (or what looks like a date) in the view source. I think that may be because it's still too far out. Liberty doesn't dock in Charleston until Sat the 22nd. '04 MCS "Audrey" (Jan build) CR/W DAUGHTER'S '04 MCS "Bagheera" (June build) JB/JB HIS USTCC #58 '06 MCS "Lily" (April build) PH/W HERS |

Offline | Thanks! I do recall that now from when I ordered my Cooper. Thanks for the reminder. If I recall correctly, the OL said my car was awaiting transport the day I picked it up from the dealer .By the way - GREAT taste in your car color selection!! |
