Well on ol.miniusa.com, It says my MINI is still in "Scheduled for Production" and according to ASKMINI it is in the paint shop, I also looked at the source code, I found out where it says what my MINI is and noticed there is no info for any of the dates,
...so if you dont see the dates, it is probably not updated on the owners lounge yet.

Ricardo, thanks for the update. Come on Elektra! Funny though, my estimated delivery date is 4/26/2006 in the owner's lounge, and I bought my car in Boston. You'd think you would see it much earlier than me, being so close. Anyway, not complaining, and really hoping that is a max date. They will get it Thursday, and I'm hoping its on a truck by Monday to my dealer. We'll see - its getting close anyway!!! Hopefully Baby isn't partying too much, cuz she soon will be hitting dry land..., but 80 minis would be a great site to see!

That being the case, I'll direct you to this thread and the website minisontop.com. June 16/17 2006 is your chance to cruise up to Mt Washington and hang out with 200+ MINIs and head up to the summit of the tallest peak in the east to watch the sunset (the auto road to the summit will be open to MINIs only on the 17th). There's some cruising, some hanging out with fellow MINI owners, and a catered meal as well. At this point we've got 200 cars signed up for the event, 170 of which are signed up to go up to the summit. Once we reach 200 booked for the summit, the event is closed. Registrations must be postmarked by May 1, so get on the stick. This is an event I've been involved with since it's inception in 2003, it is good clean fun and it raises money for a different charity each year (this year it's the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Massachusetts)...

Well, my MCS is in transit from the NJ VDC to upstate NY. I should be receiving a call from the dealer tomorrow for pickup. The 5 week waiting period is almost over! To anyone telling otherwise, the waiting period anxiety gets worse by the day.

That's what work was made for. Just think of it this way, if you were in Europe you would be getting a lot more days off. You'll actually be going to work, but mindfully will be driving your new MCS along the most twisted road in the NY. Enjoy it, and hopefully surf th web to figure out what accessories you might purchase.

Personally I'm just glad I'm on a business trip to CA this week, and working so much that it makes the time fly bye. Hopefully by this time next week I'll be driving in my new MCSC, or at the least be daydreaming about the next day! Definitely post the pictures when you get the chance - can't wait to see your Mini!

Man you guys are making me jealous .

I have had a setback - looks like my car has not made any progress in a week. According to ASKMINI representative it is still in the "preliminary" stages and hasn't even entered the body shop as of yet . Status has not changed since 4/13. It is amazing the different timelines expressed by the various reps at ASKIMIN. One guy told me my car should be done by tomorrow or Monday. Anoter told me it could take 1-2 weeks in the preliminary stage before anything starts on the car??

The recording states the car is scheduled to be done on 4/28, but the rep says he shows 4/27. Who knows....

Mine still says it is in the Paint Shop (since last Saturday), but the est. completion date is tomorrow, April 21st, but i know someone said once it hits the paint shop, for some, it doesnt update anymore... but how do I find out now what ship it will be going on?

My boat is over half-way here, and MINI OL still says it's awaiting transport. I suppose I should trust my tracking info through WW that says it's been booked.

My MA has been good about answering email; it took a while to connect on the phone, but then we talked for a while. I use him for more learning about the process of purchasing the vehicle - I get all my schedule updates from other places: 866AskMini, WW shipping site, sailwx for ship location, halifax/ NY port web sites, Owners lounge, and HERE! I figure with all those free information sources that I can check a million times a day, I'm probably more up to date where and when my car is than my MA!

Baby gets on solid ground today Stateside at 8pm NY Time!! Welcome to your new country, Baby! I hope she gets on a truck to Boston by Monday, but that may be wishful thinking. Anyone know what kind of hours they work at the distribution center? Do they do anything on the weekends, or strictly M-F? Getting very close now - hopefully just 1 more week!!!

I think you will get your MINI in less than a week. Only took 4 days from docking in SC to me picking up my Cooper in South Florida.
