My MCS still sas it booked for the Patriot, but still no new status on it being loaded or not... OL still says its On Route, but askMINI says its in Transit... so I am just going to assume my MCS is still at the port, this way I cant get dissapointed again for thinking it was on ship...

Looks like my MCS doesnt like Freedom or the Patriot side of things... and I just hope she has her grudges to the ship names only and not the actual freedom she'll enjoy in the US with me behind the wheel.

Hopefully she'll get on the next boat.

I got to ask what is the point of the owners lounge? It has my car at the distribution center but meanwhile the ww site has my car sitting there for almost a month.grrrrrrrrr. Don't mind me I'm just cranky,sorry.

arty is your car going to charleston? If it is do you know long it takes usually to get to dealership?

Nola, My MCS is going to Charleston, but not sure why, I would think New York would be a shorter Distance, I live in Minnesota, but what ever they want to do i guess... for deliever i think it will take anywhere from 3-10 days after they do there checkup, then the dealership has to do their stuff... so thats another day or two... so i think for sure it would take less than 14 days... but honestly, since I dont got mine yet, I'm not totatly sure...

I hope not too long. Mine got off-loaded in SC this weekend, so I'm anxiously awaiting news from my MA on when my pick-up day will be.

Congrats staceybassoon, if my MCS got loaded on the Freedom, mine would of been at SC this friday, I would assume you could get your car by end of this week if everything goes well with everything... otherwise you are probably looking at next week.... Hope the wait isnt to bad for you right now, since its right at the door step... but all that matter is you will be getting it any day now...

Got a message from my MA today that said my MINI is at the dealer and has become somewhat of a celebrity because Purple Haze is no longer available

Can't get there till Thursday, but that's OK cuz I'm driving my daughter's MINI all this week. Going from MINI to MINI is much easier than waiting on your very 1st one. I'm still very anxious to get in, drive it off the lot and start the bonding process.

Now this is very odd. Checked the booking number and now the number of cars have grown to 825 (was 550 before). Furthermore - there are now about 90 cars showing LOADED ON VESSEL. What is VERY odd is that some of these cars show as being loaded on 5/2/06 (the ship set sail on 4/30/06).

To make things even more interesting, check out the position of the PATRIOT - sure is heading south quite a bit:

The Patriot still doesn't say my MCS is loaded, but it is strange to hear about the loading, and the more South route it is taking...

Also for people who are looking through the booking number, and dont feel like clicking next like 50 times to find your MINI, after you enter the booking number, instead of clicking next to go to the next page, type
javascript:nav('?pager.offset=XXX');
in the address bar, for the XXX that is the number you will go to, so for example, my MCS is around number 450 so i would type
javascript:nav('?pager.offset=450');
in the address bar, and it will go to that page...

well now i'm patiently waiting for my MA to email me back to let me know what is up...

Thanks for the info mct...

The good news is, my MA just emailed me back, and told me my MCS DID get on the Freedom ship... So that means, my baby will be on US soil this FRIDAY!!! YEAH! now another week or two, and I'll have by baby... cant wait

OH MY GOD IT'S HERE!!!!!!

I just got a call from the dealership my mini's there... I'm in shock. As far as that ww site goes it still has me waitlisted at south hampton, so the owners lounge was right all along! Oh my god, they just have to clean it up I'll get it next week....i'm in shock,,,,,I own a mini!!! I can't believe it!
