Offline | My Mini is also not showing loaded . I did call ask-mini and they said it did not make the boat but I am hopeing they are wrong and there system is not updated yet . I think if the ww site was updated it would(or should) at least show what boat we are now booked on if we did in fact miss the AIDA . |

Offline | I am in the same boat, so to speak. I know the people at MINI USA only know what pops up on the monitor, but I wish they were a little more in the know. This not knowing is becoming very frustrating and it will be even more annoying to find out that cars that were just built made it onto two ships while mine just sat. ![]() Cooper S - Chili Red w/Black The road goes on forever and the party never ends. |

Offline | If you missed the boat please keep the following in mind and try not to let it get to you (see below). I still don't know if I am on the boat yet or not but I was "booked" on an earlier boat (Takasago) and missed it. It looks like about half of the time cars don't make a boat due to simply being on a wait list - just in case. Offline | I just wish WW would ship first in first out , A few of the cars that did make the ship have been sitting on the dock for only a day or two . I am glad for those owners and have no problem waiting my turn as long as it goes by some type of order, not nearest to the ship wins! ![]() |

Offline | Well my patience or lack of got the best of me so I called WW to see if I could find anything out. First off ,the phone staff are great, they switched me over to the port and I was told the Manifest is not yet complete for the Aida . It will be complete appr. 2 days before she docks(Aug 6th), so it looks like we will know for sure on the 2nd if(that, possitive thinking) we are all aboard . Now its time to be nice to others, help old ladies across the street and whatevevr else I can do to get some good Karma going.![]() |

Offline | My cooper s arrived on the docks on the 19th. The ww site told me my car arrived safely and was booked. Unfortunately, askmini has informed me that not only did the Aida leave without me, but the Isolde left me behind as well. When I asked why cars that were dropped off at a much later time got on the vessel and mine is still buried in a corner the representative said that its a first in last out process. Nice of them, huh! I am really getting heated! Looks like im not going to get to try out the sunroof in the nice august heat!!! I know a lot of you are in my same shoes. Lets all go to Southampton and get our cars ourselves..... No that just wouldn’t work......... |

Offline | Well, I just checked my Cargo Status History and here's the latest: Booking Number: GBSOU88327A Vessel: ISOLDE Voyage: EC215-ISO I was originally booked on the Aida but obviously didn't make that voyage. I'm now showing as booked on the Isolde, but the status is still showing "BOOKED" and "RECEIVED AT TERMINAL". Not sure if the car actually made it onto the ship . . . Offline | Checking my schedule for later today - seeing when I can fit in some time to go outside and scream at the top of my lungs or some similar activity to vent my frustration. It occurs to me that WW is like the CIA in some ways. They can neither confirm nor deny anything at all in particular. Some information conflicts other information - perhaps some of it is disinformation. Things are scheduled, things are not really scheduled, somethings are maybe just a ruse. A message back from one of my contacts indicates that my car did **not** make it onto Aida. They believe it **may** have made it onto Isolde but neither they nor WW can either confirm or deny this as various systems appear to disagree on exactly where my can might be exactly. I am now in the "Land of Lost Cargo" - which is: STATUS 404 - CAR NOT FOUND. Grrr.... Offline | I hear you guys, and I'm right with you. I just checked the WW site and I too am now booked and received at terminal on the Isolde (same info as Coopr). It sure would be nice to have some confirmation that we got on that ship. The Isolde actually arrives in NY a day before the Aida, so that could be good news. ![]() Butch Chili Red MC White top and mirrors with Sport & Cold weather package, multi-function steering wheel and spoiler. Offline | Sorry to hear, Jason and Co, about the repeated delays. I went through the same thing, waiting a week and a half at the terminal only to miss my scheduled boat while others with production dates a week later than mine scooted right aboard. It's *quite* frustrating. I vented to WW in a previous thread, and received a competent reply. I would encourage one of you to forward on the group's continued anguish via an email containing this thread. Be polite and informative, but let him know that things still are not right... I believe jlivingood linked my thread 'Shipping Situation - From the Horse's Mouth' on the first page of this thread. Offline | WW Site Updated The WW site just updated from what I can tell. This likely explains why it was down intermittently for an hour or so. The plot thickens for me now... When I type in my cargo ID, I now get two bookings showing. The bottom one (oldest) is for the Takasago and booking # GBSOU88296. Last status in that is REMOVED. Then I show the newest one for Aida and booking # GBSOU88296A. Last status in that, of course, is REMOVED. Just for the heck of it I tried searching for a new booking # GBSOU88296B. Found ONE car in that one which was booked but not loaded on Isolde. Where oh where did it go? Maybe lost inside the WW database... Offline | I hesitated to post this photo on Sunday. I hope no one thinks it's in bad taste. I have the highest regard for the work of The Samaritans (do you have them in the States?) But as the week has worn on its content with the "loaded" Isolde in the background and a still very full of MINIs WW car park, has made me feel how very apt and particularily ironic it is. BTW, I've joined you all in "limbo land" by another route On Monday my dealer phoned to say that due to the fact that MINI have "over-sold" the Cooper S Chilli Pack, there is a chronic shortage of S-spoke wheels at the factory. Therefore, my "confirmed" Build Date for my MCS on the BMW Computer System had changed from "Week 33" (August 12 for a September 1 delivery) to "Unspecified" with possibly upto 6 weeks delay. Spare a thought...I only live 100 miles from the **%%&% factory eBrit Last edited by eBrit : Jul 30th, 2002 at 12:36 PM. |

Offline | Re: WW Site Updated Me too Exact same scenario. The people at WW are too chicken-sh*t to reply to me emails now. I'm ready to tell MINI to stick it up their crack, cancel the order and go get that WRX off the lot in Hyannis. Yesterday we had almost 100 whales beach themselves here in town, I then had a dream last night the Aida had sunk and it was MINI's washing up on the beach eBrit: love that suicide plaque. Offline | Looks like most everyone loaded on the vessel Aida has now been assigned a Book of Lading # of GB78295. That listing shows 232 cars on board. That one drops off in NY. There is also # GB78294 with 281 cars on board. That one drops off in Halifax. Looks like 513 MINIs total! Not sure if there are other book of lading #s associated with this voyage. If anyone has a different one, please post it here. Jason Jason Livingood | personal web site 2002 DS/W MINI Cooper S Thank you for signing my rear fog light petition. Now we have rear fogs! :-) |
