i just checked again, i was moved to the Isolde. The thing that confuses me is that the ww site still does not say that i have been loaded onto a ship. I sure hope im not booked on a ship that left already. my mini does not have the submarene feature like in auston powers!!
Sorry to hear, Jason and Co, about the repeated delays.
I went through the same thing, waiting a week and a half at the terminal only to miss my scheduled boat while others with production dates a week later than mine scooted right aboard. It's *quite* frustrating.
I vented to WW in a previous thread, and received a competent reply. I would encourage one of you to forward on the group's continued anguish via an email containing this thread. Be polite and informative, but let him know that things still are not right...
I believe jlivingood linked my thread 'Shipping Situation - From the Horse's Mouth' on the first page of this thread. PM me for the WW representatives email.

Dark Silver "S" - White Top - Alloy Wheels - Sports Package - Premium Package - status: In Search of Twisties
The WW site just updated from what I can tell. This likely explains why it was down intermittently for an hour or so.
The plot thickens for me now...
When I type in my cargo ID, I now get two bookings showing. The bottom one (oldest) is for the Takasago and booking # GBSOU88296. Last status in that is REMOVED.
Then I show the newest one for Aida and booking # GBSOU88296A. Last status in that, of course, is REMOVED.
Just for the heck of it I tried searching for a new booking # GBSOU88296B. Found ONE car in that one which was booked but not loaded on Isolde.
Where oh where did it go? Maybe lost inside the WW database...

Thank you for signing my rear fog light petition. Now we have rear fogs! :-)
I hesitated to post this photo on Sunday. I hope no one thinks it's in bad taste. I have the highest regard for the work of The Samaritans (do you have them in the States?)
But as the week has worn on its content with the "loaded" Isolde in the background and a still very full of MINIs WW car park, has made me feel how very apt and particularily ironic it is.
BTW, I've joined you all in "limbo land" by another route
On Monday my dealer phoned to say that due to the fact that MINI have "over-sold" the Cooper S Chilli Pack, there is a chronic shortage of S-spoke wheels at the factory. Therefore, my "confirmed" Build Date for my MCS on the BMW Computer System had changed from "Week 33" (August 12 for a September 1 delivery) to "Unspecified" with possibly upto 6 weeks delay. Spare a thought...I only live 100 miles from the **%%&% factory
Thank eBrit!!! That may be the funniest thing I've seen all day! It does, somehow, put things in perspective, huh?
Thanks again for a wonderful laugh!!

Me too Exact same scenario. The people at WW are too chicken-sh*t to reply to me emails now.
I'm ready to tell MINI to stick it up their crack, cancel the order and go get that WRX off the lot in Hyannis.
Yesterday we had almost 100 whales beach themselves here in town, I then had a dream last night the Aida had sunk and it was MINI's washing up on the beach
eBrit: love that suicide plaque. Yes, it's quite appropriate. Thanks for the reality check

Looks like most everyone loaded on the vessel Aida has now been assigned a Book of Lading # of GB78295. That listing shows 232 cars on board. That one drops off in NY.
There is also # GB78294 with 281 cars on board. That one drops off in Halifax.
Looks like 513 MINIs total!
Not sure if there are other book of lading #s associated with this voyage. If anyone has a different one, please post it here.

Well Jason,
It looks like you're on your way!! Congrats! Just join me in prayer that the rest of us that were once booked on the Aida are now in the warm, friendly confines of the Isolde! I'm hoping to be joining you motorin' in the near future.

i am hoping in desparation that my car is in the belly of the isolde. if not then i just might have to give those "samaritans" a call. I guess we all have to wait for ww to update their page further. it kinda confuses me that they are willing to go the distance to update the page to tell us that we are booked on the isolde, after the boat has already left..... why dont they just tell us if we are loaded or not???
-----on a side note, a guy came into where i work with a red/white cooper s. i told him my situation, so he lit up the tires out of sympathy for me. chirped all the way into 2nd---- its a sight like that that makes you real happy you didnt get a wrx..(crap)
Well I'm off on a few days vacation. I don't think I'll be around when your "heart's desires" ~ Aida & Isolde ~ come into port, let alone when Isolde overhauls Aida (probably when Aida is in Halifax?). But, just in case you are wondering which is which out there on the Ocean, I've posted a comparitive photo...there are a few differences.
I'm off to do some 17th Century Historical Re-enactment at the Duke of Northumberland's ancestral home, Syon Park. Erstwhile famous for it being where Henry VIII's body and coffin blew apart in the night whilst on its way for burial at Windsor Castle. Apparently the revenge of past monks for his Dissolutution of the Monastries Maybe I'll send you all an ePostcard
Anyway, the very best of luck with the almighty traffic jam that's about to happen at New Jersey VPC
