For those of you from North America, like myself, these maps may help orient you around where Southampton is located and what the town looks like.

Thank you for signing my rear fog light petition. Now we have rear fogs! :-)
The numder is (I think) the berth number within the Docks. The Aida is moored on the west bank of the Itchen on the straight section immediately to the South of the Itchen Toll Bridge as it appears on your map. MINI's arrive via the A33 and Dock Gate 4.
My photos are taken from a pontoon half across the Itchen and approaced from the opposite bank. The longer shot of Aquarius Leader was taken from virtually underneath the Itchen Toll Bridge.
eBrit thanks for the great pics. I think I found mine, but unfortunatly it looks like the only one that doesn't have the plastic on the bonnet. Probably be cause they put my xenons on two weeks after it was off the line.

Has anyone found out if they are loaded yet .I just came from the site and it looks like 569 MINI's are booked for the Aida but none show loaded yet, is it till to soon ?
I have been trying to access the ship website i have a feeling everyone is, i have not had any luck yet . Any word on the cars making the ship i am praying we all make the voyage this time
You might be interested in this Port Map of Southampton. The "Aida"'s Berth is on the far right of the map and I've pointed to it with a black arrow. The Storage Car Park with the MINI's in it..or hopefully not in it by now ...is marked with a black "X".
Keep your fingers crossed. July hasn't always been a lucky month for "Aida". She collided with the chemical tanker "Golden Asia" on July 15, 1998 near Saeki off the coast of Japan.

Having been lurking daily, MINI2 and the other forum since before ordering my DS/B MCS in early May, I couldn't just sit still any longer. Knowing my status (awaiting transport) and reading the Aida thread, I had to register and thank all you guys for your collective posts.
Hopefully, we'll all make the boat and be enjoying our MINIs in a few short weeks. Of course, that will mean less MINI2 and more motoring! YEE HAAA!

Any one know the Aida's call sign. You'll be needing it soon. It is anticipated she'll sail on one of this afternoons tides ("one of" might sound strange, but Southampton Water has FOUR tides a day, not two!)
Well i have been trying for two days now and the Wallenius website is still not working for me, has anyone been able to see if all the cars that were booked on the 26th made it on board the ship ..
Aida is into Southampton and is definitely loading. So far, I guess about 300 MINIs are on board. Only another 250 to go! She's sharing her copious decks between MINIs, Land Rovers, and "big yellow diggers". Here's the first of a few photos taken at 11 am GMT to encourage you all. I reckon she'll be fully loaded and leave tonight. I'll post some more photos later in the day.
I swear, nah hope ,ok pray that E/B S getting loaded is destined for my garage. What a day for the WW site to not let me in. It has been working all along when it didn't really matter,it figures now it would have to act up, oh well .If anyone gets in please email me and I will post if I have any luck . Thanks, Paul
