Mini says my new red Mini Cooper convertible is at the dock in England. The ship, which has been out to sea for two days, says it has my Mini aboard (based on the VIN). Which has a better chance of being correct?

I'm in the same boat. The W&W site says I'm on the Courage, due in NY next Monday. Ask-Mini and the web site (and my MA) say I'm at the dock.

If NAM ever comes back on line, there's an extensive support group (Forums->First Gear->Week 18 Production Support Group) full of likewise anxious folks.

Personally, I'm staking my happiness on W&W being correct. Why would they show the VIN as "loaded on board" if it weren't. I'm sure there was just a delay due to the cars getting loaded on over the weekend.

WW site is correct.

Why not check in with your production group here? So far, the most posts belong to the March 2005 production group, of which I was a member.

I'm in the same boat as well. I think that my MA probably is not as crazy as me and therefore has not started stalking my car by it's VIN number -- which means that he's relying on the information posted by MINI. So I'm keeping my fingers crossed regarding my MINI and hoping that it's 1/3 of the way to NY by now

I just spoke to somebody at ASK-MINI customer relations and apparently they can only track the MINI in their systems as far as its delivery at the port of exit. Don't ask me why they can only track that far. Thus, if you call them to check on your MINI, it will be listed as being at the port. The fellow did tell me that your dealer will have more information than ASK-MINI, regarding shipping status, etc. So my take on it is that the Owner's Lounge and ASK-MINI won't update until the vehicle is dropped off at the port of entry (IF it even updates status then). So, I'd trust that the shipping company knows what cargo is on their boat and unless your MA gave you the wrong VIN, your car is probably on the boat if WW says it is.

Mine is literally in the same boat; It has the "at the port" status listings from ASK-MINI and the Owner's Lounge, but yet is listed as being loaded onto the Courage on May 6th, at Southampton.

I think there are three of us with MoP-bound Minis on the Courage (tubwreck, ronburton, and AMW). We're all about an hour away from MoP, and none of us inclined to make an extra trip to watch the unloading. Perhaps some kind soul (like GBMINI) will happen to be at MoP when they get unloaded to take pictures
