I called just now and the guy said that it is finished at the VPC. It is waiting on final work order paperwork and then it will wait for a carrier to bring it down here. Still don't know if it will make it to Fort Lauderdale today,

Got the same story from ASKMINI. Finished VPC, waiting to get on a truck. Hope that it makes it here today.

If we could tell what shipping line I am sure we could track them. Most of the trucks are GPS tracked now anyway.

Bad news OBsminiS!
My dealer told me that Sunday is a no go. Said the truck wont be at the dealer in time and they need at least a day to prep the car. Dealer told me mid next week for pick up.

Talked to the dealer. They said that it could take three days to get from the VPC. Then another for prep. This has been the worst part. What really kills me is that there is a BMW VPC here in jacksonville and they routinely bring cars in there. It would have taken a day extra on the ship and I might already be driving my baby. Bummed out beyond belief. Can't wait

Indeed so. I happened to be at my dealer today and one of the "enclosed haulers" was unloading 6 Minis.

Car arrived at the Dealer around 4:30 PM yesterday, but we couldn't make the delivery happen today. We had to take the Son back to school, so it's scheduled for Monday. Any ideas how to make the next 36 hours go quicker?

I just called MINI and the guy said my car was STILL at the VPC. He said "it should be leaving soon".
Ew, Ah, thanks for all the information dude! HAH!!
I need to know more. Why is it still there? When is the truck supposed to be there?
I want to pick up my car no later than Friday. What's going on?

on the road as of 0901 this morning. I hope that it rolls into the dealer this morning and I am able to get it tomorrow evening. Still haven't done all the paperwork yet so that might eat up some time. The anticipation is killing me

hang in there it won't be long!

My car may have been delivered this morning at the dealer...my contact there was going to go look and see if it was on the truck that pulled in. If so he was going to take some digital pictures and email them to me...how am I going to focus on work the rest of the day...not to mention having to wait until this weekend to fly down and pick up the car!!!
