This morning the ETA to dealer was 8/25, by mid afternoon it had dropped to 8/22 and relased to carrier. Then, at 3:330-4pm the truck arrived. my MINI was on it. The car is now in my driveway! I put about 20 miles on it tonight. Went to my friends bar, he has a MINI COOPER S also. The cars got to meet eachother. I'm really tired now and going to sleep. Gotta get up early and was the car. It got rained on tonight. Keep up hope everyone....your car will come!

Received some good news from the dealer. My MINI is scheduled to be released from VPC today. I hope it is true and hope this bodes well for everyone else.

I've been following the plight of the Hudson Leader's cars, so it's good to see some movement for you finally!

Am I right in assuming that you're dealing with Baron in KC? If so, did you get an estimate of how long it would take to truck from the VPC to KC?

I'm on the dock now: waiting . . . waiting . . . waiting . . .

Yes, I am working with Baron. They say it should be in by the 29th, but could be sooner. I just hate to get my hopes up. It would be awesome to get it before the Labor Day weekend, however. Good Luck on yours. Things do seem to breaking loose some. The main problem is that there is no real fairness to how the cars are processed.

Very little sleep last night.
Picked up in Hartford early Friday afternoon.
250 miles on the odometer by the time I got home.
Worth the wait.

I got in late last night from a business trip on the west coast hoping that maybe, just maybe I would have some good word. If not good word, just SOME word, but I just got the same crap info that I left with on Tuesday - Unloaded on August 12th. Now ASKMINI is off for the weekend and I can't even call. It really amazes me but I don't know why I should be surprized. I need to sell my present car and I've been offered a good price for it, but I'm afraid the buyer may pull back the offer if something doesn't happen soon. This wait is really affecting my personal business life now. Congrats to all you H.L. shipmates that have gotten your cars or that at least have made it to the VPC. I'm beginning to wonder if I'll ever get my MINI.

Logged onto the OL just now and the status was updated to "At Distribution Center" (Finally!) Although my car was scheduled to arrive at the dealer on 8/22, any type of forward movement is gratifying now. Just called ASK MINI and was told the car was at the VPC and would most likely ship out today or tomorrow. Keep the faith, Hudson Leader comrades . . .

CoopR , Not to rain on your parade but the distribution center seems to be backed up and cars have been sitting there for alot longer than they should be . Mine has now been there 5 days . I was also told at first it would be in and out but then the bottleneck occured .Knowing they would have more volume at the distro center you think they would of prepared for it . I also had a 8/22 delivery date but Mini doesn't seem to care about keeping there word on anything!

I had a delivery date of the 22nd, then the 25th, then the 23 and it showed up at 4pm on the 22nd.

Don't worry, qwik, when it comes to waiting for my car I've grown accustomed to the downpours. Gave MINI a call and was told that the car has now passed through the VPC and could be loaded onto a truck as soon as tomorrow. The representative indicated that the main bottle neck is gaining entry to the VPC. He stated that once a car passes through, final shipment takes place rather quickly. I'll save my celebration for when I actually see the car sitting on the dealer's lot!

She has arrived. Thanks to Tony and all the folks at Don Rosen. So far, so good! Hang in there, I heard today some more Hudson Leader cars are coming through.

My car has arrived at the dealer. I will be going to pick it up on Thursday. I know some of you are feeling extremely discouraged, but it appears the cars do show up eventually. Keep the faith all of you early July build people.
