Yea, I saw a deck full of white Volvos. Very impressive...the ship that is. What do they watch on the DVD player..."The Perfect Storm" or "Das Boat".

Just picked up the first observation from the Jingu Maru

12 noon GMT: 49.7 North, 10.3 West
Wind Strength 11.1 Knots from 230 degrees (near due West)

Waves about 7 to 10 feet coming from the North!

I've plotted her onto an Ocean Weather map for you.

The ask MINI and OL data is bogus, I'm at 155 and the lounge says; "scheduled for production" yet the car is two days offshore. Keep digging in the WW tracking.

You are right though, in the end a week is nothing. It does prove that my car is more than a dream. I'm waking up. Soon it will just be hardware in my garage!

Gustuv is on our Atlantic Coast. See the orange swirl. He should get pushed offshore in a day when the Canadian high pressure works to the southwest. It could be rough around Halifax by the time the ship gets there. I am sure there is no problem. A few cars might loose their mirrors banging around, that's all!

If (big if) Mini produces cars sequentially according to VIN, the most recent Mini booked at Southampton is TD57924. This is about 70 since yesterday evening (EST). At that rate, I'll be booked today also.
