Offline | Well if thats the case I would like leather seats, and DSC and, oh heck if it's oly money how about upgrading me to an "S" In case you can't tell I am making the cutest puppy eyes you ever did see. No? Can't blame me for trying Anyway I finally broke down and made my first call to MINIUSA, I felt a bit silly because I KNOW the kind of people that are calling them all day I figure it will get easier and soon I'll be calling several times a day. Oh yeah I forgot the reason this thread exists (sorry)![]() My status is now at 150 and MINI has all my factory installed options listed even though they still haven't posted them on the OL. |

Offline | Sorry - MSFW? Called MiniUSA this evening - still in holding pattern of 112. They said check the beginning of next week. And as of this evening, still no complete details on the Owners Lounge. |

Offline | Re: Status 150... Don't worry Clutch. Your wheel will look better, You will never use cruise control, and the buttons on the back that won't work after you upgrade the stereo won't drive you nuts. If it matters, you saved some money too. Ess |

Offline | Seems to me that OL updates your status from "on order" to Scheduled for production" just about 2 weeks before your EDP. Though you may have "officially" been updated a few days prior to that from the info. I've gathered from others who called MINI USA. Status 150 no more changes But they have to make it official at some point. |

Offline | MFSW ezrally, I didn't have the multi-function steering wheel on my list from the beginning, for exactly the reasons Bad Ess mentioned. It was only after a road trip this past weekend (six hours driving up to Rochester NY, six hours back down on Sunday) that I reconsidered the usefulness of cruise-control. Then I did a search here on the topic, just to check. Here was BruceK in December, saying he only wanted MFSW for the cruise-control, but then in July after he got the car, he found that the wheel-mounted audio controls were a MAJOR convenience. That made up my mind, but as I found out, too late. So now I am re-reading Bad Ess's post over and over again, to console myself. ![]() |

Offline | Re: MFSW Late decisions/ I have done a poll of my own driving and own three cars with cruise. The only time I have ever used it was to flex my right leg for a minute. I haven't had a speeding ticket in 5 years and I ain't no gulmer. I don't play the radio if I do it's one station. The rest is CD's and I think I can reach the volume from the two o'clock position on the wheel. I also like the classic look. My MINI is not an SUV limo. It is a bit nerve racking to have the specs locked in. Oh well the decision is made. Making that decision to make the decision is a relief. and that's all... ![]() Ess |

Offline | I'm status 150, scheduled for production...or, "on deck," as ASK MINI rep. told me! No options showing in the OL, but I checked that they are correct with MINI rep. I'm very excited...obsessed, really! Lets keep each other up to date!Andrea (ID on the other board) |

Offline | 4 weeks!! That would mean my MINI would arrive 6 weeks ahead of what my dealer projected. From what I've gathered from the wisdom of current MINI owners those are the 6 weeks it will be a VPC ![]() |

Offline | So how long does it take to get through the plant? Are these cars early? Maybe the 6 September production date is the finish date? There should be no holding at VPC. They are finished making mistakes! ![]() Ess |
