I'm not sure how often the numbers get updated?
The dude told me that they get updated from germany.
I'm limiting myself to 1 call a day!

Noon here 8-5. Still at 152 but they say it should be done tomorrow as scheduled. Should make the docks next week.

Mine is on its way to the port facility, I think that is status 160. I ordered WHITE wheels but they are not on the car! I have spoken to my dealer about it, they are saying "Yes, the order shows white wheels" and they are looking into it. Very gracious about it so far. I am optimistic, it shouldn't be that big of a problem for a dealership to get a set of whites. I didn't want to be a pain in the neck, calling them before they had anything to say, but with the full spec not showing in the OL... better to have been a small pain early, rather than a big pain later.

It's driving [or driven] down the A34 to Southampton Docks. If I pass it in the morning I'll wave. Soon it will be in that big Wallenius Whillemsen Line Car Park (see Aida thread for lots of photos).

What do you think your Cooper is due out on ?...the Jingu Maru (departs Southampton on 8th), Isolde (also the 8th)...or the Tanabata (12th..but doesn't stop off in NJ)? After that there is a long wait.

Bad Ess - My order went in on June 11 of this year. It was stuck in "On Order" status in the OL until the last week in August, I think. My dealer told me when I put the order in that it would be a September build, but I don't think they knew then that that would make it a 2003.

This is actually my second order. It's a long story, but I first had myself on a waiting list in July or August of 2001. There's been a lot of feverish back-and-forth since then, I can tell ya.

eBrit - Great shot of the MINI quay! You may not think of it as "picturesque" but I can tell you an American working portside would be a collection of rust, rotting buildings, litter, and shipping containers stacked up to the sky because stuff comes here but nothing gets shipped out. (I know I shd break that up into a few sentences, but I'm trying to economize on periods/full stops)

Good GOSH!! I am booked on the Jingu Maru, scheduled to arrive in NY on Sep 17! This is all happening pretty fast, after so long a wait.

After being built, do the cars undergo days of quality assurance tests? Mine should be built by tomorrow and am hoping to catch the earliest ship departing

MINI Shuttle, I'm not sure when it actually came off the assembly line. Being a shy and retiring type (!!!) I have mostly relied on the Owner's Lounge for status information. And according to the OL, I am still only "Scheduled for Production".

I figured it out and checked...I'm currently scheduled for the Jingu Maru!!! YEAH!

Does anyone know if I'll port in NYC or Baltimore? My dealer is in Baltimore. Could I get my MINI for my birthday??!! Sept. 21st! That would be cool, really 2 months before I expected it.
