No problem, we see the VIN number of all the cars anyway so it would be nice for something to look out for on those long shifts

Can you also supply a small plastic bag full of all the missing screws, clips, bolts and tacks that your colleagues have forgotten to fit....????

Be nice to get a digital photo of yuor car being put together though....

Us forget anything.....Never. I could possibly If wanted save little thins from it i.e the build sheet and some other things from it if wanted.

I'm told by my dealer mine is being made next week but he hasn't given me a VIN number - is this something I can ask for?? Would be great to know that you actually saw it, makes it more personal....

Hi all!
my first post on this forum.

I'm waiting eagerly for my MCS Sidewalk with JCW tuning, ordered back in May.

It takes 4(!) month for my MINI to reach this side of the planet (Japan)
and we don't have any order tracking system like in America!
I'm so jealous... ETA is 20th September. only 79 more days to go!

Mr.Cooperscooper please do tell me when you find my dream car coming to life.
Order no. is 9411575. It's coloured sparkling silver.
Apparently he's gonna be the first JCW tuned Sidewalk with Manual Transmission
to reach Japanese shores when he arrives, according to the sales person.

I'm not sure it will do you any good. Coopersooper has flown the coop! He only posted on two days in June and hasn't been heard of since. I PM'd him with my info a couple of weeks ago without a response.

I've ordered my 2nd MINI on 5th July, he will be delivered between middle and end of october

That sounds bad, maybe he's ill or on holiday, any case I hope the build my new MINI as fast as they can.

I would suspect if BMW got wind of it he'd be in trouble TBH. Although he's not really doing anything wrong I'm sure they'd take a dim view of it.

Just my view after having a similar experience to do with another forum myself.

Sorry been busy as you can expect! the VIN is a funny thing, even though is is easy to find, it isnt if that makes sense, ive got a masssssssive list f VINs to check and the only way of trying to find them is to keep the VIN in my head and when the car goes past let the pther person know......if only it was that easy. I am 99% taken up in my role, the other 1% is findng parts. I am trying to get my self into a routine to get peoples cars spotted, but it isnt that simple! sorry guys!
