Just played a little with the WW website and punched in some VIN numbers lower than mine. IF Mini produces these things sequentially then the most recent car loaded was TD 57849. That's about 100 less than mine!

It's late tuesday, I'm still at 150. Production takes 3 days once started. I will be a race to the Sunday sail, but that's what MINI's were mean't to do.

Mine 9-6 car, it stayed at 152 for 3/4 days and was not 155 until last Friday. 160 late Monday, and I missed Sat/Sun boats so out on Sunday(Aida) the 15th. FYI
PS: A couple of 9-6ers did get right on their weekend boats, which I think is the exception...

Seems Ss are done last, at least my week.

Some news "hot of the presses". Aida and Rigoletto wer both scheduled to leave Southampton for US next weekend. The Rigoletto is now not making the trip. So its only the Aida.

She'll be in to Berth 34/5 at Southampton at 8:00 am on Saturday, fill with MINI's, and move round to another wharf on th same day. She will then be loaded with HONDAS!

and depart on Sunday.

Just got off the phone to my dealer and my S has not even started production yet. He says the status is all the parts are ready for production but it hasn't entered the line yet

He says it should be at the delivery centre by Monday though...
Arrrggh, this is starting to get tense

IMHO I wouldn't believe him. Has he told you that "after production...there is a little wait....and then they go from Cowley to Thorne in Yorkshire for QAing...then, they come back to a "holding area"....then they try and "make up the numbers" to fill a transporter to your dealer....all before they deliver?"

If you get it Monday - well done, good luck, ....and you will be greatly privileged to have witnessed a modern miracle not far off "walking on water"

eBrit, is the Aida going to Charleston, SC. I don't think it was before.

Well, you never know your luck. But I personally wouldn't bank on it

Perhaps the Peak Run could take a diversion to Thorne...it's near?..and convince MINI management how TERRIBLY TIRED us Brits get with the interminable delays and lack of reliable delivery information?

Now I need to figure out transportation, as if I'm booking it myself. The new WW schedules aren't out. If rigoletto is not going to US/Charleston, who is and when???

eBrit, where do you find all this information? You seam to have the inside scoop on schedules, changes, ports, maps of ports, incredible!

I'm at status 152 too!!!!!

It'll probably be done Saturday, which means it's unlikely to make the ship (the Rigoletto, I think). Bummer.

Chiph...what colour is your car. I've a growing suspicion that Indi Blues, BRG's and Black MCS's are coming off the production line very slowly! I only saw one BRG MCS at the factory and no Blue or Black MCS's.

Indi-Blue has rolled off the line. Keeping a keen eye open for the next boat. WW has posted the new schedule. The rigaletto is still listed for sunday. deep down I hope your wrong on the rigaletto, eBrit, or that the aido added Charleston to it's itinerary. Given your wealth of sources (or shall we say informants), the next boat would be next Sunday Oct2, the falstaff.

nelsdvn, your VIN makes quite the jump. I thought they were mostly in close order. Mine is TD57960, minimenc is ten or so less.

How can you tell that WW has posted the new schedule? It looks the same to me.

I also just called and I'm 155. Just too exciting
