When are you usually informed of the official build/delivery date for your car and given the reg/chaise number?

I ordered my MCS in the middle of June and first told del. would be January 03. After a week or so the dealer call and said I would be able to take delivery for November 02 (I'm assuming due to the colour being Indi blue). I'm hoping to get the official word over the next few days now but am starting to wonder.
Been waiting two and a half months now, don't know how some of you guys could cope with a year.

Not sure what you can do besides calling your dealer & asking every couple days...

Do you have a toll free phone to call at MINI HQ, if so you can ask them, as we can here in the USA.

My dealer prints a list of ordered cars daily, and can tell the status from that.
