Well my Cooper S finally made it to Southampton last Friday 29 August! Its booked on the Boheme which leaves on 6 September, due in Sydney on 16 October. Looks like my own expected delivery date of first or second week in November looks pretty accurate. My dealer still claims October, but given all the delays other Aussie buyers have experienced once their car hits Aussie shores, i'll stick with my prediction.

Anyway, the Boheme is a rather unique ship in so far as it doesn't travel via the US like most of the others. It goes via South Africa and arrives in Perth first, followed by Melbourne then Sydney and finally Brisvegas. Last stop before Australia is a country (island) called Reunion which i've never bloody heard of. God knows what they drop off there, but I suspect it isn't Mini's.

Glad yours made it Clarus! I've been hoping mines going to make that ship, it's the last for awhile. It's been built since week ending 9 August and must be just sitting around enjoying the sites. Both dealer and BMW HQ have no idea where it is (or they're not telling me anyway). I've got a VIN but Wallenius Wilhelmsen doesn't show up anything. I've almost given up hope of getting it early November even though I was promised September delivery.

OK didn't make the Boheme, but at least I'm now booked on the Talisman now. Leaves Southampton next Saturday (14/9) and arrives Melbourne 27/10. I'll now assume delivery mid November.

I still don't understand the transport shipping arrangement though, at least 25 MINI's built after mine made the Boheme.

By the way, dealer or BMW HQ are yet to contact me regarding this after both promised they would as soon as they know ANYTHING! WW site was updated with my VIN last Wednesday!

Bad luck Freek for missing this boat - Bummer. Still... Talisman sounds lucky

I agree with the comments about lack of info from BMW - They couldn't help me either. Strange, as they have access to the Wally Willy website the same as us, plus their own systems

Yipee!!!! I'm also on the boat.

My car was built in week 34 but I only recieved my VIN today.

Surely these cars could be shipped and pre delivered before the start of November. I'm going on holidays for the Melbourne cup week. (My luck thats when the car will be ready)

Oh well I have been waiting for months another couple of weeks wont kill me..........much.

come on Boheme... I'm praying for a tailwind, big swell behind boat, burst of speed etc.

Well there is a MINI higher power, from this day forward I name thee (higher power) 'BOHEME'. MINI BoheME!

As most of you Boheme travellers would know, the ship left Southampton last Friday 6/9. Also most of you would be aware (see above) that I stated that I missed Boheme and was booked on the Talisman (leaving 14/9). Well low and behold, last night my shipping schedule had been changed over to the Boheme! More surprisingly a different booking number with only 2 (two) Mini's has been added. Must have had some spare room under the stairs and two of us made it. That now makes it 82 mini's heading for Melbourne on the Boheme! WhooHoo! If all goes to (revised) plan, I could be in the Dark One for Halloween!

Finally got the chassis number from the dealer (TC64594), and yes I'm on the Boheme too!!!

The Boheme's callsign is SIVY but it didn't show up of the OceanWeather site today

The Boheme has safely made it to East London and is now on its way to Durban.

Arrived yesterday: Boheme (0600) from Le Havre to R extension.

Sailed yesterday: Boheme (1420) to Durban.
