So far so good, it seems I've been loaded on this ship now for a few days after it was supposed to leave port, which hopefully means it left with my car on it and is now steaming its way here!!!

Anyone else on this boat? Does anyone know the call sign so we can track the boat via the Coast Guard site (according to the FAQ)?

Also, how long has it taken others for their boat to cross the Atlantic? I'm trying to ballpark the new car's arrival so I can sell the current car. And yes I am also obsessed. Waiting is getting darn near impossible!

I hope you have better luck than I did. My car came on the Don Juan on its last voyage docking in NJ on August 13 and my car is still at the port!!

My car was on the DJ last trip over. I am picking it up on the 5th.

Oceanweather.com lists SGIX at just about the middle of the Atlantic as of today, 9/4/02.

Miniusa.com still says the car is awaiting transport - that is to be expected. However the Wallenius Wilhelmsen site still lists the car as loaded on vessel... do they actually post the departure of the ship?

According to the voyage info (EA235-DOJ), the ship was supposed to leave 8/31/02 from Southampton... am I reading this info wrong?

My MINI is on the Don Juan also. I just checked the OL today and I was moved to "En route". The really strange thing is that my estimated delivery date is 9/11/02, but the Don Juan isn't going to get to NY until 9/10/02. Unless they're going to inspect the car, load it onto a truck and drive it down to Richmond in one day, I think I'm going to be waiting just a bit longer. What does everyone else have as an estimated delivery date? Since some of you other DJ folks are still at the port, I don't have high hopes for getting my car one day after it arrives in the US.

My car is SUPPOSED to be at the dealer in Richmond on Monday which will be exactly 4 weeks after the Don Juan docked in NJ. As I understand it, there is STILL a huge back in the port and there are still cars there that came in when mine did. I would think that they would have diverted some cars to the Charleston VPC which seems to have very little business at least until the NJ backlog is caught up. Good Luck to everyone.

Also I forgot to mention that the owners lounge once the car is enroute is for the most part usless. Your best bet for information is ask mini and the dealer. The owners lounge is not updated very often, especially after it leaves the factory.
