Mine will be almost the same but an "s" and with Aero Kit and silver Rouge stripes...think its still waiting on customs but was told it was next in line for that yesterday...probably at least another week... Dont have too much fun without all of us who are still waiting!!! |

Offline | COLIN'S HERE! Picked him up yesterday! If you wanna be a nervous wreck for several hours, pick your MINI up with your 9-year-old daughter! Much touching and fiddling and GENERALLY DRIVING ME MAD! But I kept my cool and continued to grin this stupid grin that won't go away.... Only 2 glitches: They ordered the wrong color wheels and the side marker light on the driver's side popped off on the way home. A little clip is broken, so I'll have to have that replaced, but no problems otherwise with 40 miles and counting. The wife took pictures and I'm gonna grab the office digital camera today. OL says estimated delivery date is also 10/17. Should I tell them they missed their estimate? Darn it - time to call MiniUSA again... Offline | andrewinla, I guess you're right - and we didn't have a dock strike to contend with here either. OK, I'll quit whining...  I *DO* have good news to report though - MiniUSA told me this morning that the car was put on a truck yesterday! Since the dealer is under 2 hours from teh VPC, I'm guessing it's there now - but I can't get through to the dealer - all their phones are busy today. I'm still hoping I can pick it up tomorrow (Saturday), but that's a longshot. Offline | Paulgraz...nope you are not the only one still waiting with a 9/27 production date...my IB/IB MCS has been at port since last weekend, went to the dealer in Charleston yesterday, they gave me a delivery date of 10/27 to them, so that means probably next Friday... patience makes the heart grow fonder...hahaha! |
