Just curious as to how many of us that where on the Hudson Leader are still waiting for delivery of our Mini's . Mine is still not delivered.

Quik, So sorry to hear you're still waiting. I know how you must feel. I was at my wit's end until delivery last Saturday night. Keep us informed when you finally do get it. I can tell you that once you get it, all that pent-up frustration just melts away.

My car was on the Don Juan which I believe docked the day after the Hudson Leader. I was just informed that it was released to the shipper this morning and the dealer says he should have it and ready to deliver on Monday or Tuesday. Am I dreaming??? It will be a long weekend!

I was on the HL. I've been getting lots of different stories. I've been told:
A workorder was cut in the VPC on August 15.

Last Friday I was told the windscreen has a stress break.

Tuesday I was told the car was through the VPC waiting for a truck.

Yesterday I was told it is not yet through the VPC.

Don't know what the real story may be.

Last night I talked to my sales manager and he said that the customer service number really has no clue what is going on and that until he gets notified that the car is on a truck he can't find out any details either.

I'm really anxious and want to get motoring.

My wait is just about over. Thanks to the dealer making a few calls to the VPC I will be picking up my MINI S tomorrow . For any of you still waiting , have your dealer call the VPC, It Helps. I think if it was left alone my Mini would of continued to get lost in the shuffle of new arrivals and may not of been delivered any time soon. Hope everyone else gets there cars soon .

Just wondering if you actually picked up your baby on Saturday? I hope so. Bassplayer was right. I finally picked mine up on Aug. 30 after a very long frustrating wait, and all the frustration just melted away. I was on vacation last week so I got to drive it a lot. I LOVE it. For any of those out there who are still waiting (I really hope there aren’t many) it is definately worth the wait.

I did pick up my MINI S on Saturday . The dealer had it all prep'd and waiting in a indoor showroom . It was perfect except they did forget the Bonnet Stripes . They will put them on at a later date, no problem at all.
I am having a ball driving it and cant wait for the breakin to be over with . I did not realize how much fun it was to drive until I drove my Maxima today . The Maxima all of a sudden felt real slow in the handling and way down in fun.
For all of you still waiting, you've heard it before but I'll say it one more time..ITS WORTH THE WAIT !

I picked up my baby today and drove it back from Richmond, (130miles). It is GREAT!! The quality, fit and finish as well as the ride quality and handling is far better than I expected. The car is very solid and I LOVE it! It IS worth repeating IT IS WORTH THE WAIT! Good luck to all those still waiting and hang in there!

My MCS was on the Don Juan and arrived 8/13. Mini tells me it went to the VPC on 8/27 and since had a work order printed. On the night of 9/11 they told me it was released but then told me this morning that its status has not changed since the 27th. I've asked the dealer to call the VPC but my hopes are low since there seems to be no consensus on what the dealer can do or find out. Does anyone have any advice? It shouldn't take 17 days and counting to fix a car.
