Offline | Is Your Week 33 (8/16) MINI Delivered? How's it smell? What's it look like? Any little dings? Damn. I am just so jealous! Congratulations. Where's Mine? I know, VPC. But do I ever believe what OL says about my car? |

Offline | VERY ENCOURAGING! I have posted this thread mainly to sense the retardation (if any) of my delivery as compared to, say, someone in RI(Rhodyrobert). Or Ohio (notonthetopofmyhead) for that matter. Actually. I am targeting mainly US members. Hell, I am sure it's a ridiculous question to any week 33 owner in UK. But hey. Wouldn't it be nice to know their 8/16 motor came out and drives smashingly? |

Offline | As of the last phone call, my mini has been completed at the VPC and is now awaiting the transport to Boston. With any luck the vehicle could be moving on Tuesday. (about 5 hour trip) If they receive it on Tuesday then I may get it by the end of the week. |

Offline | Still sitting at VPC waiting for carrier to move to Boston. This is now the only delay. Once it gets to Boston I should have in two days. What a long wait............................ |

Offline | I've got mine but i'm only 2 hours from the factory! It smells sweet and looks even better. Dealer found slight ding on front bumper day before delivery and gave me the option of picking it up a couple of days late or taking it now and bringing it back for a new bumper. I chose the NOW option and had the bumper replaced later. I was gutted when they first told me your brand new car is DAMAGED but these things happen and they say that the dealers only prove themselves when problems occur and they dealt with it superbly. How long is your wait from ordering to taking delivery? Mine was 15 weeks. Hang on in there, it's well worth the wait! |

Offline | eBrit, not long now if your car's at Thorne, it seems ridiculous though to take it up there and then back down to you. I've only ever been through Thorne by boat on the canal so don't know much about it other than it's a small town. Some nice twisty roads up there so will probably drive that way sooner or later! ![]() |
