To the Aussies, how long does it take???

It looks like my car has been built. But appears to have missed the Mid September ship. So much for early October delivery!!!
How long does it take from when it is loaded on the ship till when it arrives in Australia???

The shipping routes average about 40 days, give or take a few, from Southampton to Aus. From then, it really depends on the efficiency of the dock, customs, the VPC and finally the dealer.

Hang in there Boo, not long to go now! I used every city the car visited as a kind of count down. And the worst bit, the car has visited more places then me

Thanks Boo - I hope your car gets on a boat soon! My build started in week 37 (last week) so it must be close to finished now?!? How long is the build process anyway?

Nice plates too btw... I just went searching at the RTA - there are sooo many good plates for the S still available! Think I'm gonna keep my current plates though...

Have a read through the Clarus on the Boheme thread for the story of the previous delivery of cars to Australia. It includes a number of links to web sites that allow you to track your car on its long trip down here.
