Having first set eyes on (in a magazine) the mini in Sept '00 and put my deposit down in Aug '01.

I have just looked at the tracking site (hope I'm reading it correctly) and my Cooper S (black with white roof) has been booked in

It states the S is on the Vessel - SOCHI - anyone eles mini on this trip? and will be arriving in Melbourne on 21/10/02.

Bring on the light!

Hopefully mine should be on the same boat. I gather your dealer gave you the VIN number so that you could track it on the shipping company's site. I haven't heard anything from my dealer to confirm my MINI was built as scheduled.

If your MINI is on the boat or anywhere near it, your dealer will be able to get you the VIN number.

Go hassle him/her.........
