Question Advice on picking up a new MINI

Well I got a call today to tell me that my car was on the transporter and on it's way to my dealer - two weeks early!!

Looking like I will be able to pick my Dooper up next Wednesday.

However, although I have picked up used cars on my own I've never bought a brand new motor and this is my first time.

Also I'll be going to pick it up on my own etc.

Is there anything I should know? Do I need to check the car etc when I go there? Bodywork/paint work? Do people tend to take it for a short test drivey thing?

I'm worried in all the excitement i'm gonna rush off and miss something vital

Cheers!!

Oh and Professor Peach, how are you getting on? Didn't you order your car the same time as me?

Yay!

Check all round the car, the bodywork, interior, for marks or anything like that. Check everything works on the car

You'll be fine

had a few brand spankers in my time, always go over the body work, each panel, with a fine tooth comb. also, as previously suggested, check the interor condition and test everything for working order.

good luck.
