lotatoys, I was quoted somewhere in the ball park of 470.00 if I remember correctly. Maybe thats for actual registration in Utah though. ARRRGH, just got off the phone with Ask Mini and my car has not hit the VPC yet. I think my irratation is just further inflamed now that I am driving some POS 83 Camry!!! NEXT WEEK OR I'M GOIN POSTAL!!!

I figure it may add about 50 pounds, I need to get ahold of my old boss, when I installed ICE, to get the dynamatt at a fair price, almost $300 for stickey rubber/lead??? I have found automotive carpet padding with a foil inlulating layer for the padding. I will take pics when I do it. I have an SLP meeter, so I'll get before and after readings to see how much sound attenuation I get.
As for the clear tails with the blue white, and white wheels, is worth the $300, got em from MINIMANIA, and they are a BMW part, logo on the box. Well every pic I've seen looks better than the red. Glad there all one color(white) some on other cars are clear & red and some look a bit too rice, I'll get pics this weekend....

lying, *******s, ok perhaps mis-informed, they said it was the first, oh well. what is it about selling cars that turns poeple into... ya know I just cant say anything bad now that I got her, kinda changes you whole perspective! I'll just go wipe my feet on my FREE floormatts. Becides it looks so good I'm sure it wont be the last

Well it might have been the first one THEY delivered. I have seen some nice Cooper S colors lately. All BRG, All INDI Blue, BRG/Black roof. All the combos look fantastic!!

And yet the colors are better, for the S, I just wish I'd goten the antracite dash, like I wanted, oh well, its all good now....

do you have any S's not spoken for, what is your wait list like?

Sausagefingers - Have you heard any (good) news yet? I checked the Owners lounge and it shows my car as being at the dealer. I sent Debbie an e-mail to confirm and to ask a few last minute questions.
I hope your car arrives soon. Maybe we'll see each other this Thursday?

Apparently my car is still at the VPC, however if they keep that thing going on the weekends, maybe it will be finished on Monday. IF SO.... It might just make it up to BMW of murray by Thursday. I will shoot you an email if it does and try to catch you up there!! I am happy to hear that your car has made it, I will be there on Monday to finish all the paper work so maybe I can get a picture of her for you!!!

I'd love to see my car posted here before I pick it up! I guess this proves Mini owners are one big family. I hope we can meet on Thursday, even if you don't manage to get a picture. I'll be there around noon and you'll recognize me as the guy with the constant ear-to-ear grin!

Looks good!! It has been released from the VPC and Scheduled to leave on Tuesday. It should take two days from there I suppose. I will snag some pictures of your DS/DS today and post them after lunch!!
