Thanks IBminiG!! I guess I get to pick her up today. Lottatoys DS/DS was very pretty but WOW the Indi blue is the cats Meow!! I am very happy with it, I have got to tell you though that its a car that begs for the rally stripes. Don't wait too long to get them!! Everything worked out well in the end I guess except the way the dealer treated me. What an ASS!!! I think I am going to speak to the sales manager today about him. Oh well...my car won't let me be upset about it when I tearing up the road!

OK now that sounds like sometheing from a Powers movie, Yeah Baby! I thought you where getting the IB/W, like the rhyme! Like its name! when do you get it? today? Dont let the dealer get you down, the last bit sucks, power through! it will all be forgotten once you drive away...

Sausagefingers...what can I say? You're tops! And I'm so glad to hear you'll be on the road so soon. I didn't realize your dealer was so bad though. What did or didn't he do?
The pictures are great though and I've already e-mailed the link so my M3/WRX buddy can take a look. I'll be heading his way (Denver) after taking delivery on Thursday.
Again, it's so nice to know there are a lot of fellow Mini owners who follow through.
By the way IBMiniG, where was that pic taken, the one with sail boats in the backround? It looks familiar, maybe the Ballard area?
Take care everyone! I'll be sure and post trip pics here as soon as possible. Hopefully there won't be any of the car plowed into a snow drift!

Lottatoys, yep, very near Ballard, I call it the aluminum forest, Shil Shole Marina. The IB/W Is very nautical looking, I almost bought a sailboat there, but got a Diamond for my better half, got the MINI before the big day though

you guys are in for some goooooood times, just around the corner....the goofy grin just doesnt go away!

Well the Mini dealer is great. I should have stuck with Debbie but my uncle bought a BMW from the same dealership and told me to go to someone else. He promised me that he would take really good care of me. In all actuality I was just small change compared to the commision he could be making on a 7 series or something else. He treated me like ****!! He would never return my phone calls and when I told him yesterday I had to get the paper work finished he threw a little fit that I had to have an appointment with him in order to get this done. I told him that I tried that but he would not return my calls. The worst of it was when he started to raise his voice at me in front of everyone at the dealership and never once appologised. I was an inconvenience to him. It really upsets me this guy is making a commision off of me when he did absolutly nothing but make an already stressful situation worse. I am not trashing Mini, I am sure they are great. As soon as I am handed the car keys I think I am going to make a trip to the sales manager!!

Sausagefingers, I know I could have been happier before delivery too, but it will all change once you get Forsted, I was told there will be a follow up call from BMW/MINI after the sale, write it down and forget about it till then. I was there too, but this is what we have waited for for soooooo long, dont let a bad apple ruin your pie

This car is Auto Nirvana!!! The car dealer was still an ass and never actually appologised but he is throwing in a boot mat @ no charge if I drop it. So, I am ok!! There was a flaw in the leather on the passanger side so they are replacing that, and they are also going to replace one of the wheels that has a major gash in it. OTHER THAN THAT....

Motor on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HEY IBMINIG!!! I guess alls well that ends well!

I will definately get some pics up!! I am going to have to clean it up a bit though, lots of break dust on those pretty white wheels. I am so amazed with this car. It begs to throw it around and tear up the road, and I am actually quite pleased with what it can do up to 4,500 RPM. I can't wait till I can really run it in!!

I know, it is so much fun, I'm trying to be good, not over 4500 or flooring it, and it STILL rips! on ramps are the most fun, leaving the SUVs behind is a blast! I washed my white wheels everyday but now there getting a lovley shade of grey, shows youve been using her

How many times did you go out just to take a look last night?

Wow, I finally have some time to post an update. Sorry for taking this long. Long story short, the trip to Mini of Murray went well despite several delays. Debbie Linge was great and the car looked awesome. I must say I wasn't sure about chosing Anthracite interior but one look convinced me. I love it. The trip out to Denver and then back to Northern California went well except for a cracked windshield and a few small chips outside the Clear Bra portected areas. Can't expect it to stay new forever, right? Here's a pic of the Anthracite interior just before I left the dealership. I'll post some better pics in the next few days. I also posted some in my gallery under lotatoys, page 19 (currently). Hope everyone else ofrom the Galaxy Leader is doing well and take care!
