Looks great! Glad to see another Galaxy Leader out there. Here's one I took on the way back to California from Salt Lake City (via Denver). The car had been through snow and grime covered roads in Colorado, Wyoming and Utah. This is at the edge of Salt Lake, just hours before I was pulled over in Nevada. Seems the officer couldn't read the temp tag on the car...too dirty.
Good times, good times

Would you believe I've had the car for 6 weeks and have only washed it ONCE!? I know that's blasphemy, but the weather here has been wet and nasty and I'm getting too old to be out there every weekend washing the car in the cold.

hey lottatoys

long time, glad to see WE posted galaxy leader cars....you know I had a funny experience washing my MINI. Most cars you wash and then the rain begins...well I live in Seattle, yeah, you know it, rains every day (almost) a couple weeks ago it had been almost two weeks since a wash and, A BREAK IN THE RAIN!, so a washing I went, know what, it didn't rain for 4 whole days! that's right 4 days , hey in Seattle that's BIG, so go give it a wash and watch the sun come out

Hey...

It happened again, rained all weekend a break in the weather on sunday, yep its sunny here today, too bad the white wheels only look REALLY good driving the 10 feet from the driveway to the garage its funny the wheels take as long to wash as the rest of the car. So lottatoys, any good MINI stories yet?

IBMiniG...
Sorry about that last post. I actuallly sent that by mistake, before the post was finished. Then the follow up didn't seem to post. Must be the New Year off to a bad start!
Anyway, I did wash the car a couple days ago. That was after a very dirty trip to Oregon and back during the holidays. I hit snow on the return trip and the car got trashed. Even picked up a couple more minor rock chips on the un-protected areas (I have X-Pel Bra coverage).
I was amazed at how well the car handled the slush and occasional patches of solid snow at low freeway speeds. The driving aids did their job very well, without any drama. I think there were quite a few surprised motorists as I passed by them in their SUV's and AWD Subies. I guess it's just a matter of confidence in the car as opposed to drivers ability!
So that's the latest Mini news from me. Sorry to hear about the weather in Seattle again. Just be happy knowing that your car can handle it all!
