Called MINUSA today to get my (almost) daily update and I got to chatting with the guy and he said that since my car was started early (3 Oct) that my MINI should be finished 11 Oct. instead of the original estimate of 18 Oct.

Now I'm trying to temper my excitement with cautious optimism ....... its NOT WORKING .... I want my 'baby' to be born NOW ****.

Ok Ok I can remain relaxed as I've still got a long ways to go but its so exciting to actually be able to see (well hear about anyway) daily progress now as compared to that interminable wait to go from 'on order' to 'scheduled for production'

Anyone else think they may be born 'premature' with me? lol

I was hoping for a pre-mini also, but still 150 this morning when I called.

My main hope now is that my MINI will make the Isolde (ship) that sails on the 20th for Charleston.

If it is completed the 16th or so there is GREAT hope.

My car is scheduled for production. I have a vin #. I have a problem now. The review order detail has not been updated and does not reflect the options I ordered. They show a picture of the car and it has the 16 in. wheels and not the 17's. The submit questions to Mini is down. Should I be worried?

Everyones 'factory installed options' box is empty. Not sure what picture you are talking about but I'd hazard a guess as to it being a generic picture (ie: the same one for all of us).

If you want to confirm your options (though at this point its too late to make changes) call 1-866-ASK-MINI. I have verified my options both through them and my dealer (just cause I'm losing my mind waiting)

They are there waiting on your call.

They can answer all your spec questions.

The last time I called, they asked me "why has GOLDMBR not called us yet?" LOL (not really)

I'm trying to wait until this evening to call them again.

I wonder if they track how often & when we call in????

Don't know if I can wait another 4 to 6 hours without my Ask MINI FIX!!!

ON October 03 my status code went to 150.
Week 42 Production date October 18.

Today is October 15 and as of 12:20 p.m., the status code remains at 150. Production date remains at October 18.

This might become a 'miricle birth' unless the production date gets pushed back to October 25.

Anyone have a similiar experience? What's your guess for explanation??

To put it mildly, being this obsessed is not pleasant!!

Production was started Oct. 3rd, status code 150 with a production date of Oct. 18.

Today is Oct. 18 and my MINI is still at status code 150 with a production date of Oct. 18.!!

HELLO!!

Only explanation I can come up with so far is that I ordered the anthracite dash which is being halted with Nov. production.

It would be oh so very nice of y'all to wait at the factory with me so I won't be all alone!!

Have you CALLED 1-866-ask-MINI???

They are about the most up-to-date...........

Forget the OL for timely info..........

My car is at the docks and the OL sez it's still waiting for production.

Definitly calling Ask MINI. OL still has me On Order.

They tell me it is at 150 today and has started production and completion date is 10/18. When I point out it was at 150 the 3rd of Oct. and how could it be completed today if it is still only at 150?? they say, "Oh, that is strange but it has started production today (150) and should be completed then sometime next week."

It's just that I have been hearing that it has started production since Oct. 3 and I don't trust that statement anymore.

Thanks for responding to my frustration rants
