Awaiting Transport -> En Route?

It's been a little over a week since my countryman went into production, and I checked today on the owner's lounge, and it is now awaiting transport! As a result of some google searching, I followed the advice of some other posters in regards to tracking it but I feel as though some of that info is outdated. Does anyone know where I'd be able to check and see if my mini got on a ship? I'm in NY and on the WW website schedule, it says there was a ship leaving Southampton yesterday (3/23) and I feel like there may be a possibility my mini is aboard since before today, I hadn't checked the status since Friday so I'm not sure when it finished production. Does it take a day or two to update from awaiting transport to en route? There's another ship leaving 3/29, and it is probably more realistic that my mini will be on board that one. I'm just so excited (and, I admit, a bit impatient)!

I have found that the latest and greatest information comes from 1-866-ASK-MINI! They are really helpful and really nice! They can tell you the exact ship. Penelope (2014 Cooper S) should arrive here in Texas any day!!!

Tracking to the East Coast! Check this info "alexteaa"

Good morning, NNJ/ Paramus here. Here you must get your order/build# (7digits) or the Vin and then U need the last 7 of that starting with letters here is an example, (WP12123) they are both available from your dealer. Then as another person said call 1 (866) 275~6464 and give them Last 7 of vin or order/build#. They will tell you what the name of the ship is that your Mini is on (IF IT'S ON A SHIP YET).
Their are alot of sites that offer ship tracking, I was on Yahoo and just punched in "LIVE TRACKING OF INDEPENDENCE 2" (the ship for my Countryman) then clicked on the "SAILWX." Site The ships report in approx every 24 hours so you you should see a red dot showing your ship. (take a look at the pics I posted) independence is in Bayonne NJ (that's where Mini delivers there autos) don't forget weather does affect travel for these ships so it can be slow. Sailwx shows atmospheric conditions, ship speed, distance traveled etc. It's great to see, it is tough for me to know my Countryman is about 20~25 min away but I can't have it yet.

DIY Forgot to tell you......

The Countryman & Paceman are not built in the UK, it comes from Austria then it's trucked through Germany to the Port. It travels down to the UK once the Ship is all loaded to pick up HardTop's then it heads for US ports.
