Offline | Question about "order details" at Owners' Lounge Hey all, I'm looking at my "Review Order Detail" at the Owners' Lounge, and it seems kinda vague. Should there be things missing here? Like, I ordered rally lights, but they don't show up in the details here. And things like... that I wanted silver wheels, silver dash, no hood stripes and black floor mats... do not show up on here as well. Should those things be there, or is it normal for this thing to just show the "big stuff"? If this is normal, is there some way that I can get a complete, accurate detail of my order somewhere? Basically I'm just wanting to double check everything, make sure the dealer entered everything correctly. Getting a little excited about my order and overly paranoid about something getting screwed up ![]() Thanks ~bob |

Offline | Contact your dealer for a bit of assurance, but it seems the owners lounge is often incorrect, especially if it's quite recently been ordered. Give it a while if that's the case, and it should update. I think my problem is that I have a little bit of a lack of trust in dealers, and salesmen in general... so I was hoping there was another source for my order info I have these horror images of the dealer saying "Sure sure! We added it... we updated your order"... and "Oh yeah, everything's find"... when in reality they've got it completely messed up. Guess I'm just being a little paranoid ![]() ~bob |

Offline | Also be aware that some of the items you mentioned may be the standard, like no stripes, or dealer supplied options, like floor mats. These things will not show up on your detailed list, only factory supplied options will. Coy and his car Spike |

Offline | I have a question about it as well: On the "Order Detail", are "17" Alloy wheels styling 85" the "7x17" Alloy wheels in our S-lite design" from the website (and which I ordered)? bobntx, FYI, my recent order "Review Order Detail" shows the silver dash I ordered. Offline | My order was also incomplete at first. called Ask-Mini to confirm and it was wrong. I informed my dealer it was wrong and he corrected it. Ask-Mini told me that bonnet strips for the cooper was installed at the factory but the dealers install them on the S. So my stripes do not show up on Owner's Lounge but the silver dash is listed.MCS DS/W, H/K, Premium, Sport w/stripes, Silver Dash |

Offline | In my case (which i think is common) the dealer "modified" a car they were already allocated to come up with my exact order. So, when I first looked in the Owner's Lounge, it was a bit different, but within a few days (when I assume they made the modifications), it matched exactly. By "exactly," I mean that anything i could option on the miniusa web site before step 5, accessories, showed up in the owner's lounge/tracking/order summary just like i thought it should peace of mind (and a good dealer!). '03 MCS EB/W & W/wheels, lapis blue leather, packs1,2,3, rain-sense & HK, magnesium doors w/silver dash. Over 25k miles and still loving every minute! (woops, crashed!) |

| MINI2 Regular | This might be unusual, but my dealer mailed me a copy of the order. You can bet I will have it in my hot little hand when I pick up the car. They mailed it to me when the production number was assigned. It has the basics as well as all the option codes. You might want to ask your dealer for something similar. It doesn't appear to be something only my dealer has access to. At the top it says "BMW and MINI" then on the next line there is a gray block across the page with a number and "Vehicle Inquiry - Ordering" in it. Eric |
