Happy I am. My car on the boat it be!

My new Electric Blue MINI Cooper S is on the ISOLDE (ED310-ISO) that left the Port of Southhampton on 4/12/03 bound for Port Hueneme, CA.

It looks like my MINI isn't the only one on this cruise. 282 cars got loaded onto the ship from the manifested 456 (Booking ID GBSOU121406). So who else is inpatiently waiting for the ISOLDE to arrive in the USA!

My Indie Blue MCS is also on the Isolde heading for Cali as we speak.

My little guy is also on the Isolde, heading currently (I'm guessing) for the Panama Canal. I guess I am relieved to see others as mini-obsessed as I am. Has anyone had any luck trying to track the ship on the marine website? ( http://www.oceanweather.com/data/ ) Counting the days to offload...Michael

I don't see the Isolde's call sign on the map either. My I did find a picture of the ship!

Excellent, thanks for the isolde pic. Kinda boxy, isn't she.
I'll be picking mine up at Rasmussen in PDX as well...the Tacoma dealership was backlogged for 9 months on the Cooper and 14 for the S, and that was just too long a wait. I'm assuming ours will arive on the same truck...we'll have to compare arrival dates.

I don't mean to go off thread, but how do you guys know which boat your MINI is on? I only ask because I live in Southampton and often watch the car transporter ships being loaded with MINI's and often think I am probably watching one of yours car's being loaded on to the ship.

The oceanweather tracking system is voluntary. The Isolde has not signed on to the oceanweather system. We will just have to wait until it arrives in port. Waiting anxiously in AZ.
