Offline | NEWBLUE, ordered in November 2002, is finally slated to be on the TOSCA leaving Southampton 4/25. Keeping my fingers crossed it doesn't get bumped and that I get it by the end of May.. Anyone else here on the TOSCA? |

Offline | I'm scheduled to be on as well. Did you notice that the Tosca was already delayed one day last week - pushing departure from Southhampton from the 24th to the 25th. Hopefully, we'll all get on and depart as scheduled. IB/W with Sports Pkg and MFSW ![]() |

Offline | Yup, I noticed the delay, but considering that I only ordered mine on April 1st and that my original BUILD date was May 2nd, I'm just happy things are moving faster than anticipated! (I'm more of a "the glass is half full" kinda guy ;-) |

Offline | Yes and I sure wish their "Weather Officer" would make some reports this time so we can see the boat. I put a dep. on an Indi Blue MC "already in the pipeline" in March and can't wait! I am guesing maybe mid-to-late May arrival here in San Antonio. Derek |

Offline | What's the "Weather Officer"? "Weather Officer?" Also, I see the Tosca has sailed from Southhampton and my car was scheduled to be on it, but no indication that it was loaded. Has anyone else had specific confirmation of being loaded on the ship? |

Offline | Berner- From another thread here, I gleaned that you can get the call sign (S6AN) of the Tosca from a US Coast Guard site, from there, you go to the Ocean Weather site ( http://www.oceanweather.com/data/) , click on the North Atlantic or North Sea region, or wherever you think the ship is, and then select the "Marine Observations" map. Look for the little blue flag thingys - these are notations for wind speed and direction (I think)- below each one you will see the call sign of the ship reporting. Some ships report, some do not.... If they report, we will know where the Tosca is (and feed our anxiety). As for the Loading of your car, I don't know anything about if you don't have either a "wait list" notice or a loaded time. Try to also track the ship(ment) by booking number - you may have to go the the WW home (www.2wglobal.com)- it will show all the other cars in that booking; check the dates for each, if you're one of the later, there's a chance you got wait listed - it happened to me... Offline | Berner1- Well that's kinda a bummer. On the flip side, maybe the Jingu Maru will be trackable ( from http://psix.uscg.mil/PSIX2/VesselSearch.asp it looks like your call sign is JPPT...) Good luck! Derek |

Offline | Doesn't look like the Tosca is showing up at the Coast Guard site. But just knowing that my MCS is out there headed for the US is enough for me. The hard part will be the wait for overland transport to Moritz Mini in Texas, and then on to northern California. Do other people go through these extremes for a new car? Likely not, but then again, the ease of putting a new Ford Focus in the driveway didn't really flip my switch either. Offline | According to WW cargo tracking, the Tosca has left South Carolina. My car was aboard and is still shown as "LOADED ON VESSEL." I hope that doesn't mean the car was hidden in a dark corner of the ship and they didn't unload it. Assuming it was actually discharged, is there any way to predict when my dealer, Moritz MINI, in Arlington, TX might get it? I have to make major plans to pick it up in that the dealer is 2,500 miles away from my home. ![]() |

Offline | I just checked my "Estimated Delivery Date" in the Owner's Lounge. Thanks for the tip. If the date is accurate, the car will be sitting on the lot for a full two weeks before I can take it home. Oh well, I guess that's better than flying to Texas to pick up my car only to find out the dealer doesn't have it yet. |
