Gryphon,

When you search your VIN on the shipping site, the next screen shows the status and also has a booking number at the top left. If you then search for that booking number, you will see a list of all VIN's scheduled to depart with yours. I would like to see that list to see what range of VIN's are on it. Thanks!

Hey Gryph et al,

I too show as booked on the Carmen but at the bottom it reads "* Cargo is in Waitlist Status". Vessel has sailed without my Mini. You all may want to check that. Looks like he'll wait for the next vessel or one after that. Here are the next rides to the East Coast - NY and Charleston (this does not include West Coast vessels).

DEP 6/6: Carmen (sailed)
ARR 6/14
DEP 6/10: Tai Shan
ARR 6/20
DEP 6/16: Maersk Teal
ARR 6/25
DEP 6/17: Takasago

Hopefully can get on the Tai Shan!

I have no $#!%$# idea about boats at this point.
Here is what I do know:
Production date was June 6th.
Booking number is GBSOU126449
vessel: Carmen
voyage : EQ316-CAR
But I think this is not tres accurate.
MINI listed as there but waitlisted. I think Qamper has info about next shipments.
e28 if you enter the booking number you can see what MINIs are on and which ones are waiting. (I think.) I await better data from you guys (thumbs up) or the shipping website.

The EQ316-CAR voyage was the one that left on 6/6, unfortunately. I was hoping you might be listed on a future booking as you said you were scheduled to sail on 6/30. Oh well, I think the vin's on this booking will eventually transfer over to the booking for Tai Shan (which I'm hoping to find the cargo shipping list for). Keep us updated if you get booked on another ship!

I see the problem. If any one of us has a booking number for the Tai Shan then we could share the booking number and be able to look up the list of which cars are scheduled for the Tai Shan. Without the booking number we can not get into that list. So who has a booking number for a ship LATER than the Carmen that just sailed?

but I'm betting I'm on the next boat too. I figured it would have been a long shot to make the Carmen anyway. With hindsight and tips from you folks..I now see the fine print..Cargo is in Waitlist Status.

I searched last night and found a post about Waitlist Status. I think it was from last August when others were dealing with the same situation. WW had emailed back a very nice and long letter explaining to the board member how it may look like you made that boat..but ya didn't.

So, I'm guessing the Tai Shan for me too But that's OK..a little more delay for activating home equity line.

I get a screen now that has both Voyages listed, the Carmen that sailed and the up coming Tai Shan. The booking number for the Tai Shan is the same as the Carmen...it just has an added "B" at the end. BUT ...both voyages have "REMOVED" in the status field!

Mine was born 6/6 and currently is "awating transport." I got a VIN but no boat. It's a IB/B MCS and its going to Peabody, MA. I placed an order in August, 2002 (!)

I think you might mean the Maersk Teal:

Argh, this is frustrating!

My IB/W MCS was wait listed on the Carmen, too. Now it is scheduled to go on the Maersk Teal which sets sail June 14. (I wonder why nobody is booked on the Tai Shan.)

Like others, my concern is that it shows both ships with a status of removed from both ships.

I will be on vacation the second week of July, and I was really hoping that it would be waiting for me when I return. I think I will have to wait a little longer.

As of "9:30 am" today status is "removed" if you check the vin number and "waiting at terminal" if you check the booking number. Goodnight Irene!

The dealer offered me a couple of same color MCS's from people who bailed out - but my current lease is good through August 2003 and so I decided to wait for what I ordered.

Otherwise my booking number is the same as everyone else's with an added "B" at the end and both voyages "REMOVED" in the status field.So I guess we're all in the same boat!
