| My dealer said I should expect a mid-July delivery, perhaps the third week. I've ordered from a delearship in Connecticut (Mini of Fairfield County). The party line is 4-6 weeks after production - even on the East Coast. Of course I'd love to have it for Fourth of July weekend but I think that's wishful thinking on my part. |

June Production Club Well gang - here I am. I have a estimated production date of June 13. I placed my order on Jan 25 and my baby is supposed to hit the assembly line next week. When I ordered in Jan. I was told that I should have the car in early June. But I believe I won't have it now until late July/early August. Time just seems to go on and on and ..................on And the way I see it, late July/early August is if everthing goes smoothly. As scaring as it is to think, our waits wait could even be longer ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() . Finally, I live in the metro Detroit area and could have bought a Mazda 6 which are built only 30 minutes from where I live and would have it by now. But then again, the 6 isn't a MINI is it. Let's all hope we get our babies by mid-July. Keep the faith and lets continue to keep our club members informed of important news. At least we should be on the same ship together |

Another June 13th EMD Mini Center in San Antonio TX gave me an estimate of mid-late July for my IB/W MCS. Just attended my first MINI event today, I'm helping start a new club in the South Texas area, centered around San Antonio and Austin (although I suspect that there are enough MINIs up in Austin to form an independent club). A blast! I can't wait to finally get my car! Muprhy's take on Rallyes: Measurements will always be expressed in the least useable units. Velocity, for example, will be expressed in furlongs per fortnight. |

| Hi Qamper: I took your example and called MINI; my car is also IN production now. It is looking good for Mid-July in Stamford. Have you looked into financing other than through MINI? Home equity line (if an option for you) would be better. Or, there are most certainly credit unions in Philly and credit unions are frequently better than banks. Gryphon |

| Hey Gryph, As soon as I get the VIN, I'm going to research financing. Probably start with peoplefirst.com as their rates are excellent. I'll then see if Mini will match their rates or do better. I think you can lock their rates in for 45 days and I think we're right in the 45 day range now. I'll probably be up in Connecticut in the next couple weeks and will drop by Stamford and review some aftermarket items and the financing. What are the specs on your car? Mine are: Dark Silver/ Black S Anthracite Premium and Sport packages Space Cloth Black Bonnet Stripes |

| Hey Qamper: You went for the dark look; NICE. My MINI: indi blue with white roof, white bonnet stripes and silver wheels, anthracite interior with black leatherette (I went dark on the inside) sunroof (as a stand alone option without the rest of the package), cd changer and HK sound, sport pack, cold pack. Intend to get windows tinted soonest; not majorly dark but some. And the sunroof will soon be tinted also since I got it for the air not the rays. I have a birthday in July and when the family asks I will say please get me the glove box organizer and the center console plastic insert storage space. (Of course this combo has changed MANY times and would probably change again if the car were not already being built........) Gryphon |

| Gryph, My second choice was indi blue with a black top but went with my initial color choice. First Mini I saw was a pic with a DS/B with black bonnet stripes......love at first site. Third choice was red with black top and black bonnet stripes. I really love this combo but envisioned speeding tickets galore. Let me know when yours shows up the Wallenius web site and I'll do the same. Have you spoken with your M.A. at Mini of Fairfield lately? They still calling for mid-July delivery? Hope everyone had a great Memorial Day and for our friends across the pond, a great Bank holiday! |
