changing order details

I have ordered my MCS a week ago, got my production number and all. I missed one thing - bonnet stripes. When I called my dealership Midwestern Mini in Columbus Ohio they said that my order is in status '112' and it's 50/50 chance that the changes will go through. Are they just trying to make me order those stripes later and pay 150 to them instead of $80 factory option?

First of all, congrats on the order!

According the the Shipping and Tracking FAQ:
112 Order scheduled for Production

I don't think your dealer was lying. From what I understand, this means it has been configured and the parts will be available to build the car. So, if it's at the beginning of the 112 status, your stripes will probably go on, if it's at the end, probably not.

I ordered Chili packet for my Cooper in statuts 111, my dealer sais that wasn't any problem but in a week later (112) is impossible becose Mini is ordering all the extras for your car to suppliers.

anyway it already moved into "scheduled for production" status. This means I'm getting my S soon!!! Who cares for stripes?

Similar thing here.... I thought to add xenons to my MC estimated build date of 7/11/03, and my dealer said they can try to add them, maybe they'll stick, maybe they won't!! I'd like to have them, but I'll be happy either way!
