| originally my production date was july 25, then last week i checked and it had been moved up to july 18! but now, like all others here, the production date is gone all together. maybe i should call mini usa to see if my production date has yet again moved forward! (maybe, but probably not. i can always hope...) does anyone have the toll free number for mini usa handy? i've seen it around before, but don't remember where... |

| thanx grimfool. i shouldve looked at the FAQ. i just called and they told me that my order is 'scheduled for production, but hasn't been assigned a production date yet.' this is after i had already been given an estimated production date! they didn't give me a code number or anything else. why are they toying with me like this??? i guess i just shouldn't worry about it. it'll get here eventually. right? right?!? |

| Yes I found that it was about 2 weeks before they gave me a scheduled production date on the phone even though the website was showing it. I think you'll have to wait patiently difficult though it is Bill BRG/W MCS with UJ decal & white bonnet stripes |

| Hey, I posted this on the General board, but for convenience I'll repost here: To get the estimated production date... I found that you can still do this: Call 1 866 275 6464 (MINIUSA) Say "VEHICLE PRODUCTION STATUS" Say "(your production number)" ..and AutomaticBob will tell you when they are planning to build it! | I've done a lot of reading around here, but haven't seen how long it takes to make a Mini yet. I know the production date they give you is always a Friday and that the goal is to have the car finished by that date. I have seen posts recently that indicated they were at least a few days ahead of schedule. For me there can be a little down time. I just need mine by the end of August. As my nickname sugests, I'm a doc in the Air Force. I'm moving out to Langley AFB in Hampton, VA late August. For ease of transition I ordered my car from Crown Mini of Richmond, VA. So if all works right it should be sitting there when I show up. As to the John Cooper Works Kit. Everyone told me if your going to get a new car, get everything you want for it. So, that's what I'm doing. From what I've read, it looks like you need another 1,200 mile break in for the JCW, so it might be cool that I can kill two birds with one stone. The biggest thing is that it appears that the JCW may be in a little short supply, so I'm hoping that that will be installed when I show up. -BartMack, give MiniUSA a call on the 1st of July. It's likely they'll have you in a code 150 at that time. Being Stationed in North Dakota, the wait to leave here and for my Mini is killing me! |
