Offline | Just placed my order today (Oct 24). I have a Nov 21 estimated production day. I thought about waiting until December as I wanted to get the rear fog lights, but decided it was better to ask the dealer to throw in the modificaiton for free and they did! Now the fun part starts of second guessing all of my options! |

Offline | Congratulations! I've got my VIN, too, and it really feels like things are in the works... Now you'll spend all your time trying to figure what boat it will be on and when it will arrive! Has anybody with a Nov. 7 production date heard anything from their MA about estimated delivery dates? Mine says in a best-case scenario, I could get my MC the day before Thanksgiving... but more likely the first week of December. |

Offline | A lot depends where you are in the country... and in relation to the three Vehicle Processing Centers -- in New York, Charleston and Port Hueneme, CA. My dealer is in New Jersey, close to the NY VPC, so I'm hoping I won't have to wait too long to get my MINI. My MA told me end of October when I ordered back in early September. What a shocker for me when I learned my estimated production date would be Nov. 7!!! Oh well... I've since gotten over it and accepted the inevitible delivery date in early December. |

| MINI2 Regular | Just ordered my Chili Red '04 last week, and my Missouri (that's in the middle) dealer estimated a late December delivery. I'm showing a 11/14 EPD, so I know his delivery date is a little optimistic, but hopefully not too far off. I was lucky enough to get one of his last two November slots, and no additional fees. If it does get pushed back into January, I have the luxury of being on a cruise ship that first week; wouldn't do much MINI driving then anyway. By that time, hopefully the Blitzsafe XM Radio adapter will be ready to go! -Nick |

Offline | so I finally called Mini instead of checking the website...and I'm convinced the website is really uninformative! The website showed my EPD as Nov. 7 but when I called it was Oct. 24! Hooray! I think I'll just call from now on. Hope I don't start calling like 3 times a day! Did you all get your EPD from the website or by phone? Offline | I was figuring that Mini had a gulf coast port (probably Houston) to service the Texas and SE market rather than trucking from the East Coast. I know VW/Audi has a Houston port. Anybody know the actual ports? - Mark |

Offline | I think there's 3 ports listed in the FAQ section: one in Charleston, one in southern CA, and one in New Jersey. '04 EB/W MCS, AC, H/K stereo, Lapis/Black leather...arrived Dec. 26!! |

Offline | Houston cars come into the east coast (charleston) unfortunately. I was thinking the same thing as you, but nothing for MINI in the Houston port. My Audi came into Houston though. ![]() Hey, so what is the phone number for MINI to check the status? I've only been checking the website. |

Offline | That's great news, PainterJane! Nothing like chopping a week off what's surely been an unbearable wait. I've been getting my information strictly off the website, but following your lead, I just called MINI for the first time. Turns out the information they gave me is identical to what I've been getting on the website. I'm still at Nov. 7. |

Offline | The number is 1-866-ASK-MINI. It's all voice activated (or you can speak to a real person) and you can check your Mini's production status. Actually I was really surprised that the info on the website was so much different! Not that I'm complaining... ![]() '04 EB/W MCS, AC, H/K stereo, Lapis/Black leather...arrived Dec. 26!! |

Offline | Add this one to the mix: up until today the website said 11/7, then today it said - 11/14! So I followed your lead and dialed and the friendly young MINI automated fellow said my MINI was still on order with an EPD of 11/7! It's hard being an expectant MINI owner. ![]() |

Offline | I've been checking the website, but I called ASK MINI and the production date via the voice activated menu stats Nov 21 (website currently has Nov 28). Also, I did notice one of my options (silver dash) was not listed, so I wanted to double check that it was corrected. When I spoke with the person, he stated that production for my MINI is scheduled to START in about 1 week. Anyone know how long it takes to build? I know the EPD that is given means the date (always a Friday) that the car is supposed to be complete on, not started. If you haven't called ASK-MINI, I would give it a shot!! Thanks PainterJane! |
