Well since I was told I MAY be in my dealer's November production allotment (actually I was told it is not likely but dang it I'm an optimist), I thought I would get things started.....

Well, I just placed an order Sat Oct 4, I won't know my production info until Tuesday but it looks fairly certain that mine will be built toward the latter part of Nov.

My dealer got a whopping 0 MC and 6 MCS for November (this after getting 28 total cars for October) now he says it will be a stretch for me getting in December... time to call my therapist lol

I ordered my IB/W Cooper back on Sept. 6th... and my production date is Nov. 7th. My dealer says he should have the car around Thanksgiving. We'll see. I'm figuring it will be more like the first week of Decemeber. So far, the Owner's Lounge has me still "On Order".

Anyone else have a two-month lag time between when you placed your order and your production date? It seems abnormally long to me... Or maybe it's just the typical MINI anticipation that I'm suffering through. Either way, this wait has been killing me!

I placed my MCS order Sept. 1 and the dealer only placed the order 3 weeks ago! So there definitely is a lag...but my estimated production date is also Nov. 7, and I'm supposed to get it in december sometime. The waiting is SO hard!

I ordered mine on 26/9/03 and dealer says will be in showroom on 17/11/03

How can I find out where it is in the production cycle ?

November here also! Production week is 45, so that's november 7!
I ordered my baby october 4th and scheduled arrival is week 48. :white:

Alas I will have to finish my current cars contract (a Peugeot 206 which has served me well) so I will have to wait until January before I get to play with Cooper..
(Will have to arrange some visitation rights with the dealer until that time.

)

Go to the mini website and go to the owner's lounge. you need you production number from your dealer.

My status still says On Order with an EPD of Nov 7. No change yet.

I ordered my MINI on 10/11 and as of today see that although it's listed as "on order" there is an EPD of 11/7. Am expecting it within the first two weeks of December according to my MA.

Mine too!
After weeks of being "on order", I'm finally moved over to "scheduled for production."
I have a VIN and everything... it really feels like my Cooper is getting close.

It kinda takes the edge off watching the Yankees lose

At least Arsenal will be back on top tomorrow...
