Wait time: from order to delivery

What are MINI dealerships around the country saying the wait time is? in Portland, OR our dealer quotes 4 to 10 months, far more than the 4 to 8 weeks stated in the FAQ's.

the 4-8 weeks quote in the FAQ's is just the time it takes a completed MINI to go from the factory to the dealership.

from the time its built to the time it arrives yes thats accurate ... overall from putting a deposit down to picking it up 6 weeks to 16 months depending on where, what and when you ordered.

What options and style (Cooper vs. Cooper S) cause teh car to take longer to be built/wait in line?

Cooper S is almost always a longer wait then a Cooper as far as what options, one never knows, a few times certain parts were backordered (Xenons at one time, S-lites another etc.) I haven't heard of any problems lately though theres no guarentee something won't run out tomorrow. Just get what you want and wait the wait it will be worth it that much I can guarentee

For an S in Massachusetts, it's about 4-5 months from deposit to delivery. You're on a dealer wait list for about 2 months (like me), and then the order is placed and you wait the remaining time.

In New York, the MINI dealership has a 4 to 8 week delivery time for ordering if your interested.
