![]() Time for CHANGE ! | Go over the interior and exterior with an eagle eye in good light, ask them to let you take it round the bllock before you sign acceptance, note down everything that you feel is wrong and continue to do this when you drive the car away. If anything , and I mean anything seems wrong, tell your dealer, and make a note of every thing you say, who to and when. If you notice something after a few days then get it looked into. Having said all this, most cars are pretty well sorted, but transportation from the factory, and careless souls can make problems appear. If your dealer is who I think it is, they are pretty good. |

Offline | I would say the main thing to watch for is exterior blemishes (scratches, dings, etc.) because once you drive the car off the lot, those may well become your scratches and dings! They might do something about them after the fact, but I'm not sure. Most other stuff that could be wrong would probably be covered under warranty. |

Offline | See if they've polished it and left white residue all over the black trim, skooshers et al! Mine did this and it took ages to wash off with soap and a toothbrush! Main area as mentioned by dansmini is the paintwork - look at it very closely and try looking from all angles - mines has a mark below the clear coat like the edge of the polish buffer - but never noticed it and is only visible from a certain angle - annoying all the same as i know it's there! Dingdangdoo! |
