Feb. 2004 Production on Trinidad ONLY

Sorry to post a new thread, but the general Feb. Production Group thread is out of control. Almost nobody is at the same point in production and everyone is pretty much talking to themselves. I just wanted to give the call sign of the Trinidad (LAIY4) and say hello to all my shipmates who are at the same point of this journey as I am. Our babies should be in NY on 2-25-04 If anyone can actually find the Trinidad on oceanweather.com, please share the location.

Ahoy shipmates. I don't believe the Trinidad particpates in the voluntary weather reporting program. I think all we can do is watch the voyage status on the WW site to see if they indeed roll into port on the 25th...

Then of course wait to see what the turnaround time will be at the VPC. Seems to me that the last batch cleared to through pretty quickly. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Oh jeez, I just checked the WW site, and ir now pegs the Trinidad's arrival date as 2/26, rather than 2/25.

My poor baby is lost at sea!!!

You're right. I was hoping to have my MINI on U.S. soil by tomorrow. Oh well... as long as the ship doesn't sink. I think they just don't want to part with our MINIs

So what is the deal with the Trinidad. It says that it has arrived in NY and has already set sail, but this time to another location in NY (that has just appeared this morning). It doesn't say that my Mini was unloaded yet . It is still supposed to reach its destination in NY today (the 26th). So is this just their database being slow or is there another location in NY that it will be delivering my Mini to?

Ok nvm. I just found the answer to my question, which is that the second NY port is Jersey City. I guess in all my excitement of having my Mini delivered today I didn't even consider the obvious. After today I wont be counting the months or weeks until me and my Mini are united, but the days. I can't believe it .

Well the Trinidad arrived in Jersey City and has left already. It still doesn't show my Mini as being unloaded. Hopefully she didn't miss her stop. If this is the case I guess I will have to swim after her when the ship comes to Baltimore.

What website are you looking at? All the WW site shows (at least where I looked) is that the Trinidad arrived in NY on the 26th and left NY on the 27th. It then reached and left Balto the next day.

Where do you find loading and unloading info? Is it time for me to check the Owners Lounge again? I'd pretty much given up on that.

I've little doubt my baby was unloaded in NY, but right now I have no clue of how to track it from here.

OK, the Owner's Lounge says it is at the VDC. Progress.

Yeah my OL status says that it is at the VPC too. I think all we can do from here is wait for our MAs to call us and tell us that our Minis have arrived. It is my understanding that not too much tracking can be done from this point. Your best resource is talking to the dealership. It's only a matter of days now .
