Offline | Very Cool! Very Cool Pocket Rocket.. Great news.... I also just checked the OL and both our MCS (one for the wife and one for me) are do into port 4/28 with estimated delivery dates of 5/5 for mine and 5/6 for hers. Not that these dates should hold but if they did I would say that from order date of 3/23 to delivery date of 5/5 is damn fast. The dealer still has to install the JCW on mine, but if I were to take delivery some time mid May I'll be a real happy camper. ![]() A MINI Cooper and a MINI Schnauzer for all. http://www.mini2.com/gallery/personal/17549/31167.jpg |

Offline | Just some questions My Mini began production on april 19, is it possible that it will be done in time to be on the ship which is leaving april 28, and arriving in new york or 5/5 or 5/6. Also how long does shipping actually take from southhampton, to either new york or new jersey. Mini told me about a month, I have been reading that its like a week from other posters, like jlmini, and pocketrocket. I am going to call mini today to see how production is going. im thinking perhaps mini tells the public longer than it really takes to get people off their backs, anyone with feedback please let me know. The excitement is killing me particularly since im driving a car that isnt safe to drive anymore, until i get my new baby, ![]() |

Offline | it will be tight Dude, it will be tight but possible. If you do make it on the 28th it takes about 8-10 days to cross the pond depending if they go to MD before the NY port. It takes about 3-5 day to make it to the end of production, one day to the terminal and then it might sit for a few or more base on your dealers priority (slots) before making it on a boat. Check out the FAQ & DIY so you know how to track your MINI on the WW site. Just remember that the OL and WW sites suck as far as updates (OL being the worst, WW seems to update at least once a day). Ask Mini 18662756464 is also not as up to dated as they should be and once your MINI is a the Southhampton terminal forget about calling them at all. Hope this helps. Oh FYI forget about the Ocean Weather site to track your boat.. W.O.F.T. ![]() A MINI Cooper and a MINI Schnauzer for all. http://www.mini2.com/gallery/personal/17549/31167.jpg |

| Outlaw | Local MINIs That is great news Tridome.. BTW .. what NJ dealer are you two working with and also have you considered joining the NYMINI or PhillyMINI groups? Fun events and great folks.. If you need more info on these groups just let me know.. We are strongly considering ordering another in Hyper Blue... we are going to see how the summer goes and how we feel about the car and then decide.. Will probably try to touch base with you toward end of summer to see how you are enjoying both.. There are a few people in the area that have two.. sounds like fun.. especially on drives and MINI meets! ![]() " Two MINI Coopers AH AH AH AH AH" Craig |

Offline | Dealer Hi Pocket_Rocket, Were working with Morristown MINI. Small outfit, not as big as Prestige out of North Jersey, but the people seem great. Yeah the MINI groups seem like fun, thanks for the info, I'll have to check up on them. Might be absent from the forum until next week (going to VA on business). Here from you all later.... ![]() A MINI Cooper and a MINI Schnauzer for all. http://www.mini2.com/gallery/personal/17549/31167.jpg |
