Offline | A moment of silence please.... Well, I walked out to my IB/W S and I noticed a small scratch on the door not too far from the handle. I am bummed. I have no idea how it got there, since I dont use the key to unlock the door that way. Its not that noticeable to the untrained eye. But, still I would've liked to have made at least one payment on it. :-( |

| on a three hour tour | Bummer, 298! Aussies, it feels impossible that anyone has to wait longer for their MINIs than us Northwesterners. I think I'm going to be the last one in the US receiving an April build. But I really feel for you lot waiting for the ship to stop all over the fecking world before it gets down under! |

Offline | My February order wouldnt have been too bad if I had snuck into the March build, as opposed to my April build. That just made it 2 months with no action. It hasnt been too bad really. And I only got like 5 stops between Southampton and Sydney, so all is well ![]() Tomorrow morning its on Aussie soil ![]() Congrats on 1000 posts by the way ![]() - Global Moderator - MY BLOG - Global Procrastinator - ![]() ... Offline | I feel ya shanemcr. I'm in Chicago and still haven't received Daddy0 yet. Had a false alarm last friday. My MA called and said that Daddy0 was at the dealer. The next day I called and he told me that it wasnt't my car but a look alike. Nonetheless, I was ![]() ![]() ![]() ed! Been in port since 5/13 and nobody knows anything. Might have to resort to complaining if I don't hear anything this week. Hopefully not. |

Offline | The Mignon was actually scheduled for a stop in Port Elizabeth - but never did. So it immediately picked up a day. (I dont know what happened there either - wouldnt want to be a poor bloke waiting for a BMW in Port Elizabeth ). Then the Mignon gained about 9 or 10 ours over to Fremantle - so the tracker again showed it another day up.However, it must have sat off the shore at Fremantle for quite a while cause it went back to the original date when it was finally logged as departing Fremantle. Not long now anyway Liam ![]() - Global Moderator - MY BLOG - Global Procrastinator - ![]() ... Buying the 8C for its dynamic abilities is like buying a porn film for its plot ... |

Offline | Finally!!!! Hey everyone, just an update. After a long wait, my MINI and i will be united on Tuesday. I am so excited, and cannot wait to see the finished product with all the after accessories. For all of those who dont know, its BRG, with white roof, mirrors, and wheels. Cordoba beige interior. I got put on at the dealer, Aero Kit, driving lamps, window tints, door sills, white bonnett stripes. I will post pics for all to see when I get it, so thats where I am , just getting through the last weekednw ith my old car. Unfotunately the dealer didnt have the aero kit in my color, otherwise i would have had it today, but Tuesday is still great. 2 Weeks early!!!!!!! YEA YEA, Hope all of you who have recieved your MINI are enjoying them, and for all those still waiting, dont worry, not much longer, and then you can enjoy motoring. Well all talk to you later, and will keep you posted. ![]() |

Offline | Good for you I'm glad that most of the April production group members are or have been united with their MINIs. I however, will have to wait until August because my 2004 order was cancelled by the factory. I put in another order for a 2005. The '04 dark silver/white MCS was actually on its way, but only made it as far as the South Hampton port in late April. I followed it closely. It never entered the W&W shipper's tracking system and that status did not change for about three weeks. After calls by the MA and regional sales manager, it was reported that the order (and the car if there is one) were removed from the dealer "allocation system." To me that means that my MINI was either stolen or damaged beyond repair. So far my MA and I have no details except that my new order number is for a 2005, to be produced in July. I'm hoping for an early August delivery to the US midwest area. I'm not bitter, just very disappointed. The upside is that someday I'll have a '05 model with a few improvements. I may opt for one of the new colors if they're available in the July production. I'm still thankful for my generally quicker delivery, as compared to other locations around the world. This second, major delay is somehow a little easier to swallow than the first. Now if I could only distract myself from anything MINI-related for a while to make the time fly...Rick in Colorado '05 MCS Purple Haze/White/Chrome |

Offline | Amelia meets her BIG sister Ramona As promised, here are the pictures of Amelia. She has already had her repairs done, and is all better from her altercation with the raccoon. That ended up being an $1800.00 meeting with that raccoon! Here she is with her BIG sister Ramona, a 65 Cadillac that is also my pride and joy that has been in our family since new. I thought the contrast would make some interesting photos. Congrats to all who have gotten their April build cars, and happy motoring! David |
