Offline | Thankfully (for my nerves) my mini has had its VIN since 4/4 and has progressed through the paint shop and final assembly. This morning it was awaiting transport, so depending on how many minis make up a trainload...must be a lot... it might be on its way to the docks by now. Of course that conclusion is somewhat speculative on my part. everything you know is wrong gnorw si wonk uoy gnihtyreve |

Offline | For some reason the WW site doesn't work well with my OS 10 Apple Safari browser. (For you Mac experts out there I also tried changing the user agents in the debug mode of Safari to no avail) I've had to call up my ancient netscape 6 browser in mac classic os9 mode to get it to work and then I still get various errors about 2/3's of the time. Next I tried typing the VIN into the Maersk web site (which works very nicely) but comes up empty. You can give it a shot if you like: WMWRE33494TD86771 everything you know is wrong gnorw si wonk uoy gnihtyreve |

Offline | Hi. I've been lurking around this message board for a week. This is my first post. Found out production started on my Chili Red Cooper today - to be completed April 23rd! (Ordered 3/27) Hopefully she'll be making the trip across the pond shortly afterwards! |

| on a three hour tour | It's more than a week. If yours is week 17 (like mine), it must have started production around 6 April (like mine). Fingers crossed that things are on schedule! I heard there was some kind of delay of shipping cars out due to a hazmat situation, but I don't know if it affected production. |

| ...do you feel lucky? | Omg Omg Omg I am so psyched!!! My LY/MCS is "awaiting transport" now!!! I hadn't checked (out of brevity) in a few days and read above about someone ordering on the 27th and it is shipping. Well, I ordered on 19.03.04 and w00t it's shipping!!!! ![]() By the way mate -- it works for me in Safari on OSX (the mothership). The front page did not but go ahead and click the link "tracking" and it will take you to a different page where it seems to work fine. BTW: are we looking to track a "container number", "bill of lading number", or "booking number"? Last edited by Robert-in-Maine : Apr 16th, 2004 at 04:58 AM. Reason: update |

Offline | Ahh okay. My dealer told me week 17, but defintiely stated production would start on April 19. ??? So how long does it take to build one of these suckers then? ![]() |

| on a three hour tour | About two weeks. But if they told you week 17 that should be the completion week (at least that's how it worked for mine--so if that's really supposed to be the starting week then maybe they're two weeks ahead for me). Mine started 6 April and is supposed to be done 19 April. |
